Error with "Constitution of the United States, page 3.tif"

I'm getting an error with the TIFF file:
Module threw exception:
Thumbnail making failed with error: LZWDecode: Corrupted LZW table at scanline 5581.
tifftopnm: Unable to read row 5581, plane 0 of input Tiff image. TIFFReadScanline() failed.

Where are you encountering this error? The image itself appears normal in the Wikimedia Commons preview. Is it a photo editing/viewing software you are using? Note that many browsers have problems opening TIFFs, especially ones this large, so you want to make sure to download it and open it with some application that can handle TIFFs. Actually there is an error with it. If you look at the thumbnail, there is a one-pixel error line stretching all the way across the image a little above "Article III". Some utilities seem to be able to get the rest of the images, and some stop processing at that point and won't show the rest of the image. On MacOS, I can see the image in Preview.app, but it still has the error line (a white line going across), and it won't let me convert to other formats. ImageMagick on the command line won't process past that point of the image. The full-res JPG version (which is also the one available on the source NARA website as part of the PDF) doesn't seem to have that issue. Carl Lindberg (talk) 21:18, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
