Hello everyone. I started contributing to the German Wikipedia in 2004. In 2006 I discovered Commons and started to contribute the first photos. Since then I uploaded 375 photos. I practise photography as a hobby for several years now and it keeps providing me constantly with new challenges. I enjoy photographing moving objects (mostly cars) same as cities, humans, landscapes, nature and animals. Photography really is a versatile hobby and that is why I enjoy it so much. Besides that I love to travel which fits very well to my hobby.

- Online usage outside the wiki-world: Please send me a short eMail about which photos you want to use and how/where you want to use them.

[edit] My photo equipment
Here is the little history of my photo equipment with which my photos were made. As you can you can see I am so far quite convinced of Canon products.
- Canon EOS 350D + Canon EOS 40D with the following lenses:
- Canon EF 24-105mm f/4,0 L IS USM
- Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM (I can't really recommend this lens)
- Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
- Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
- Canon A80
- Canon Ixus
[edit] Canon 40D hardware problem
My Canon EOS 40D is currently broken. When I want to make a photo the whole camera breaks down. Display goes blank and the mirror doesn't switch back anymore. Reason for this is a bad quality mirror motor. After internet research I found out, that I am by far not the only one with this problem. The really bad thing is that Canon makes you pay for the repair. My camera has only made 15.500 shots so far... If you have a 40D and it didn't happen yet: Good luck!
UPDATE: Camera is fixed now. But it is pretty annoying that a camera breaks after not even 16.000 shots - and that you have to pay for the fix yourself. Bad move, Canon!
