Changing the rank of claims[edit]

I would like to ask to IMMEDIATELY stop changing hundreds of ranking preference in the ISA campaign. What you are doing is inappropriate and frankly damaging the quality of the project. Preferred rank should ONLY be put for the most important feature(s) of a picture. It shouLd NOT be put on any single claim is described by.

For example : https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:A_la_ferme2.jpg

You put « preferred » ranking on every rank. And this makes no sense. Not every claim is prominent here. There are hundreds of images you have done the same and simply changed the ranking from normal to preferred, even when it makes no sense to do that. In many people eyes, this will be vandalism. Please stop. Add claims yes. Put one or two of the most prominent elements with preferred ranking, but let the other ranking « normal ». Please. What you do is not ok. I do not know why you are doing it exactly. If this is to increase your edit account ? Is it in the hope of winning the ISA campaign ? If the latter, please remember that "Rule: Changes of ranks should not represent more than 20% of the edits. ». So all those edits will not be counted anyway. Wiki Loves Folklore is an international photography contest hosted on Wikimedia Commons to document folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world, such as folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, folk activities, folk games, folk cuisine, folk wear, folktales, folk games, folk religion, mythology, and many more.
