Info created by DXR - uploaded by DXR - nominated by DXR -- DXR (talk) 17:01, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Support I have nominated this image as I believe that it is a good representation of the building with even lighting and shadows. I know that the off-centered parts are not perfectly sharp, but please consider the fact that the image has 27 (now only 23..) MP. Two photos taken within a minute have been blended here in order to remove disturbing people. This is my first nomination here, so please critize, but so so in a way that helps me improve. -- DXR (talk) 17:01, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Support Superb! ArionEstar (talk) from Google Translate. 17:12, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Comment I really like the quality, colours and light. I would personally prefer a tighter crop at the bottom to balance it with the relatively tight crop on top (or, even better, more sky at the top). — Julian H.✈ (talk/files) 17:12, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Support Great, thanks. Definitely FP for me. — Julian H.✈ (talk/files) 17:48, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Support Maybe too much grass, maybe a bit unsharp left and right, maybe tight crop, but wow to me (the two Gardes Républicains, left and right, are nice !)--Jebulon (talk) 17:21, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Comment Removed a significant part of the grass (I hope that is allowed during the process). You are right, it clearly looks better. Regarding the sky and the sharpness: At the moment, I do "only" use the 24-70 which is a bit weak at 24mm, cannot afford a proper UWA at the moment...--DXR (talk) 17:30, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Info Low sharpness is due to high aperture and not because of lens, panorama at f/5,6 at FF sensor is not so good idea, especially at building like this (two planes which are not so close). If you would put some f/11 it would be much better and sharp toward corners. However colors are nice. --Mile (talk) 11:03, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
Comment Hi Mile, thanks for your input. However, I have also tried shots at f/9 and similar. I am aware of the effects of stopping down etc. but this does not change much too much with this lens at this focal length, unfortunately. --DXR (talk) 12:07, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Support What fun it is to remove "disturbing people" with a digital pen. If only it was so easy in life (or on Commons) :-) -- Colin (talk) 12:43, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ha, more distracting than disturbing, fortunately... --DXR (talk) 14:27, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- @Colin: Do you need some names ? I have one or two for you...
