Comment To give this picture a little love: IMHO this is indeed a very good photo; it captures the special subdued light and atmosphere of a winter’s day and manages to show why even a normal rail track in some average outskirts or suburb can appear really beautiful thanks to the winter’s soft magic. It reminds me of countless rail journeys (and many train failures ;–) during my studies. The problem is, as Uoaei1 has stated rightly, that we do not see much of the train. If I imagine the topography correctly, this is a problem of the location: the free space and therefore the view is too limited here and the railway bend too small to offer such a spledid panorama of the whole train as we are used to see from other rail transport FPs; and at the same time the rail track itself is not as remarkable as the other “Rail tracks” FPs. Maybe you can find some other location where the view is wider and therefore you have a better chance to show a panorama of the whole train; or some other place where the rail track itself is even more picturesque.
