Nice graphic of the Tree of Life, but just wanted to point out an error in that you've switched The Emperor and The Star tarot cards. The Emperor is associated with Aries/15 and The Star with Aquarius/28.

Thank you for pointing out this switch. However, my tradition is not that of the Golden Dawn. My tradition is from the Gareth Knight, Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, Servants of the Light lineage, which places the Emperor on path 28, and the Star on path 15.

Differences

[edit]

Hi, beautiful representation. Thank you for sharing. What are the other differences between this and the golden dawn version? Are you Ok with me using this image?

Thanks. The swapping of the star and the emperor are the only differences. Gareth Knight discusses this, and other possible differences in his book "A Practical Guide to Qabalistic Symbolism". The tarot cards can be applied to the Tree of Life in many different ways to provide insight and realisations. The thing is to find a set of correspondences which work for you. There are too many esoteric pedants out there who say that this is wrong and that is wrong because it differs from their system. I have placed the image in Wikimedia under the Creative Commons licence. You are free to use it as long as you acknowledge my authorship and that you don't use it for commercial gain.
