    • WDCM dashboards maintenance: eliminating the need to use the wdcm.maintable in Hive, WDCM Geo is now independent of it (with its update engine running Spark instead) and re-designed to match the WDCM standards (phab:T217994, phab:T214586, phab:T217997)
    • Further preparations for the Wikidata Languages Landscape project (phab:T221965)
    • More progress in order to get the mobile service deployed
    • Adding an IP edit warning popup for mobile termbox (phab:T221831)
    • Allowing users to ignore this popup permanently (phab:T221833)

Recent changes

  • You can now write all special letters in all African Wikipedia languages. This works in the desktop version. [1]
  • There is now a field called depicts on Commons. This is a way to show what is in a picture with the help of Wikidata. It is still in development. [2]
  • Some tools on Toolforge may break on or after 3 June because of database changes. Maintainers should update their tools to use the new schema. [3][4]

Problems

  • You will be able to read but not to edit Wikimedia Commons for 30 minutes on 19 June at 05:00 (UTC). This is to fix a hardware problem. [5]

Changes later this week

  • Some wikis have one tab for the visual editor and one tab for a wikitext editor. Others wikis just have one tab. If your wiki has two tabs, clicking a link to create a new page has always opened a wikitext editor. It will now open the editor you used the last time you edited. [6]
  • Recurrent item The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 4 May. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 5 May. It will be on all wikis from 6 May (calendar).

Findings logs: Limitations increased, however Cat-a-lot doesn't seem to function beyond this point as it doesn't seem to appear. @Alexis Jazz: , I see now, I was mostly just trying to emulate search results like "Commons:Deletion requests/Files found with insource:"48973657@N00"", but I still haven't figured out how to not load the thumbnails, I don't see the option in the search interface nor in the Airl. Copied from Cat-a-lot for a non-existing category. @Alexis Jazz: Various numismatic files to be organised by source, some only have a few hundred results and others have over a few thousand results and others a few, Cat-a-lot doesn't load after displaying 500 (five-hundred) results. It's not necessarily important educational work, but it's maintenance ⛑🏻 work I want to use in order to see which sources are the most popular and will allow me to see which files don't need to be imported are already imported/uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 23:46, 8 June 2019 (UTC)

Goedendag Donald, de organisatie die de adellijke en bestuurlijke wapens in Nederland sinds het begin van de negentiende eeuw documenteert is de Hoge Raad van Adel. Ik weet niet hoe hun beleid t.a.v. afbeeldingen is, maar ik denk dat die instantie niet heel erg ver is met het digitaliseren van de collectie. Groet, Quistnix (talk) 18:13, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
@Quistnix: bedankt voor de informatie! Ik heb dit "https://www.hogeraadvanadel.nl/contact" gevonden dus benader ik ze binnenkort. Trouwens, mijn Google Mail (GMail) is volgeraakt, nou mijn Google Drive is vol, dus kan ik geen e-mails meer ontvangen met mijn oude e-mail adres, ik heb een nieuw Microsoft-account aangemaakt specifiek voor WikiMail dus al zou ik door mijn 15 GB (vijftien gigabytes) heenkomen kan ik nog steeds elektronische brieven blijven ontvangen (ik heb al een aantal keer eerder een paar Hotmail-accounts vol laten lopen en die blijven nog steeds e-mails ontvangen).

Recent changes

  • When you create a PDF from a page on the wiki this is now done by Proton. Before this we used Electron. It should look the same but work better. Both use Chromium. This is a different system from when you collect several articles into a book and make a PDF from them. [7][8]
  • The Flagged Revisions extension now uses the standard OOUI icons. There will be additional minor fixes for positioning in the next deployment. [9]
  • Advanced item Bots and other scripts that do not set an identifiable User-Agent may find their requests strictly rate-limited until they identify themselves properly. [10]

Problems

  • Please check if the Flagged Revisions configuration on your wiki is as you expect (or as it was a few weeks ago). If not, please report it. [11]

As my Google Mail (GMail) became full last week (or so) became "full" (mostly my Google Drive, but Google counts their storage together) so I didn't receive any WikiMail for a couple of days. I have however contacted a number of people with this Google Mail account, because Microsoft doesn't merge Microsoft Drive storage with Microsoft Outlook storage I have opted to make a new Microsoft account for WikiMail, also even if a Microsoft inbox is filled Microsoft won't bounce all incoming e-mails as Google does, this is not an endorsement of Microsoft's services however, I only explain my reasoning.

However Microsoft requires people to register their mobile telephone number to be able to send e-mails and as I do not have a personal mobile telephone number I am unable to send e-mails using this address. As you might have seen, testing is underway for adding qualifiers to depicts statements.
