West Milton, Dorset[edit]
Are you sure the file File:St. Mary Magdalene Church .jpg shows West Milton, Dorset? The former chapel of St Mary Magdalene has an embattled square west tower. The sepia photograph you have uploaded shows such a tower, but in the distance on the right just below the horizon.
Nearer the camera, centre left, is a church with a polygonal apse at one end (either a chancel or a baptistry) and an octagonal tower and spire on one side. Whatever building it is, it is not Category:Former chapel of St Mary Magdalene, West Milton whose west end survives today.
What church or chapel is that building? And is it in West Milton, Dorset at all? Wikipedia lists only two other West Miltons. They are in New York and Ohio, so I think we can confidently eliminate them.
Is the photo correctly labelled? Is it a neighbouring village with West Milton in the distance? Or is it somewhere else entirely?

- Further to my previous message, I have now found the church in Pevsner's Dorset. Problem solved! Best wishes, Motacilla (talk) 11:19, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
