Hi! It was reported on my talk page User_talk:MGA73#Vandalism-related_help that some users vandalize and mass tag files with no permission. This user mass tagged and you deleted at least some of the files. I checked a few and they were from YouTube. Some are no longer available but some are still there. I think that for example File:DoMixi1989.jpg and File:20181013 Nguyễn Phương Hằng at Talkshow.png looks good. I have not checked the other files. Hallo Krd, this is obviously a case of vandalism. They tagged the files as NPD today yet the date in the template is September 12th, see Special:Diff/926462275, so that the files could be deleted in a blink of an eye, before anyone could do anything. A lot of those files you deleted have valid licenses and don't need permission because they are own work, screenshots from YouTube video by legitimate copyright holders e.g. File:NGỌC TRINH VÀ SIÊU MẪU VÕ HOÀNG YẾN KHOE VẺ RẠNG RỠ TẠI HẬU TRƯỜNG VIFW SS18.webm, files already reviewed by a license reviewer e.g. File:Sơn Tùng M-TP hát Chín bậc tình yêu tại đêm nhạc An Thuyên 27s.jpg (if there's something wrong, it'd be better to bring it to DR instead of tagging it as NPD), photos taken by a photographer in Flickr and freely licensed e.g. File:20090626 Ngô Thanh Vân, Johny Trí Nguyễn.jpg. There are several that indeed violate copyright and these should be deleted but these are only several among hundreds of correctly licensed files. Please look more into this case because too many files were wrongly deleted, compared to only a few correctly deleted. Even if some files may need permission, the uploaders should be able to have 7 days to resolve the issue. While in this situation, they have barely have anytime. For example File:20090626 Ngô Thanh Vân, Johny Trí Nguyễn.jpg, the moment the file was tagges NPD was 04:15, and then it was deleted at 06:22, so that was... less than 3 hours.  Băng Tỏa  20:36, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

I asked for temporary restoration of File:Central Downtown Astana 2.jpg, for potential local upload, but it seems I wasn't fast enough.
