Hi. Can you please internationalize Template:Festivalsommer so it can be translated? Many Thanks. -- Meisam (talk) 18:23, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

I never did this before, so I have to read a bit before. I you can help to speed things up, please go ahead. Thank you. --Krd 15:48, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
I started the process. This is the new template which should replace the old one. There are few parameters, I don't understand [I don't know German language] in original template about accreditationID, license, etc. which should be implemented in the new one. Documentations must also be translated. -- Meisam (talk) 22:32, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
One question I didn't find an answer yet: The template includes multiple other templates, e.g. {{personality rights}}. Where shall these inclusions be moved to, the template main page or the layout page? --Krd 16:54, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

--Ailura (talk) 10:45, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

Hallo Ailura.
--Krd 14:09, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
--Ailura (talk) 20:52, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
Danke!) --Krd 06:48, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

File:Cranial nerve sheep ventral.png[edit]

I just now realized this image had been deleted. I did not receive any notification on my talk page whatsoever, and there was an OTRS ticket for this image. How can it be restored?
-- CFCF (talk) 10:50, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi CFCF. Can you tell me the OTRS ticket number? --Krd 14:17, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
I never sent the original OTRS ticket myself, it was done by the author, so I don't have the number. I have the adress it was sent from, can I give you that? -- CFCF (talk) 09:47, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Please send by Wikimail or towards OTRS. Thank you. --Krd 09:48, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

Please revert your deletions[edit]

You recently removed two of my files "Hebridean plus Soay lamb.jpg" and "Red-tailed_kite.jpg" Please revert your deletions. The first file was given to me by the person who took the photo and he has given me permission to use it on wikipedia. The second is my own photo and I have given consent for it to be used on wikipedia. __DrChrissy (talk) 15:15, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

Dear DrChrissy. For both images please go ahead as described in COM:OTRS. Thank you. --Krd 15:22, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

Maybe so but the uploaded image is of a lower quality (472 × 600) and the one on the site is of higher quality (900 x 1104) and a different watermark to the one uploaded here..His other uploads look dubious too.., p.s (, I see "all rights reserved" at the bottom, at the most, it needs OTRS clarification..--Stemoc (talk) 15:07, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

I'm going to contact the suspect photographer via OTRS. --Krd 15:14, 29 June 2014 (UTC) (ticket:2014062910007036)

You recently removed my files:

Thanks for your support Yuyuh (talk) 16:09, 2 July 2014 (UTC)

Dear Yuyuh. Please proceed as described in COM:OTRS. Thank you. --Krd 16:17, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
Maybe i can upload original file? Yuyuh (talk) 16:40, 2 July 2014 (UTC)

Nadia's photo[edit]

It had already been authorized, by HER via OTRS, why did you delete it? Does the fact that a photo is also on U Tube mean that it was not cleared in the OTRS system (?) --WPPilot (talk) 21:00, 5 July 2014 (UTC)

Dear WPPilot. I cannot find any of your uploads which have been deleted by myself; please advise which file you are speaking of. Thank you. --Krd 06:44, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Question about COM:PCP[edit]

I'm finding the whole issue of file deletion at commons rather confusing. There seems to be little consistency. For example, Commons:Deletion requests/File:TLC LA.png was closed as "delete" with you citing COM:PCP but when I nominated File:Selena Gomez - Walmart Soundcheck Concert.jpg for deletion it was kept. That particular image was uploaded with a large watermark identifying it as coming from Walmart's website. The argument for keeping it was that it actually came from a flickr stream belonging to the people who run Walmart's website. However, nobody was willing or able to demonstrate that the company involved actually owned the image and that Walmart did not (Use of the image violates Walmart's TOU). Even the administrator who eventually undeleted it wouldn't demonstrate it. I would have thought that COM:PCP would have applied to that image as well. No wonder new editors are confused. --AussieLegend () 11:58, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

Dear AussieLegend. I agree that it was wrong to keep File:Selena Gomez - Walmart Soundcheck Concert.jpg and that some OTRS licence template is required. --Krd 15:55, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
So did Fastily, but the image is still there. --AussieLegend () 05:38, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
I just talked to about this with fellow admin who seconds Russavia's call, so to my opinion the undeletion stands, although I don't understand enough details to explain the background. I you have further questions, I suggest to contact Russavia directly. Thank you. --Krd 18:47, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

It is time-consuming to post a deletion request. I posted two valid reasons, (in my opinion), to request deletion of Further, as mentioned by Yann, apparently it is bad quality. :-(

This is all very frustrating, for me and the turtle. Would you consider a courtesy deletion? I promise to pose my turtle again! --Agamemnus (talk) 14:26, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

Hello Agamemnus. In the DR you offered to upload a replacement image. As soon as this is done, I see nothing against a courtesy deletion, although I don't really see why not to overwrite the existing image. --Krd 15:42, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
The main reason is that I do not want the link to the featured image request on the page. Seeing as apparently that page can't be deleted ...--Agamemnus (talk) 20:38, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
