Testing on Image:Vanessa Carlton 2 by David Shankbone.jpg
[edit]You can't nominate a photo for deltion because the artist doesn't like it. Evrik 19:09, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- so basically i cant have this picture removed? I'm offended that it has now been made the main photo. It would be better off where it was. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Luvinstarzz (talk • contribs) 19:12, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- You can't have the image removed for the reasons you have stated. I have asked others to weigh in. Evrik 19:14, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- thank you. what would be more common and acceptable reasons? Is there any way I can get a photo up in that main spot? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Luvinstarzz (talk • contribs) 19:17, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- You can only nominate it for deletion if there are copyright problems. As for what happens on wikipedia, come up with a better "free" photo. If you are in contact with the artist, ask here for a photo. Keep the emails and forward those to the OTRS desk. Evrik 19:24, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I have a picture that was sent to me to put up. I've uploaded it to commons but it says I don't have enough information. I'm an intern at the publicity company. Anything you could help me with would be gratly appreciated.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Luvinstarzz (talk • contribs) 19:17, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- I just cleaned up your work. I added {{Otrs pending}}. Please read Commons:OTRS and Commons:Email templates. That should help. Evrik 19:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when.
