DRC coat of arms[edit]
=
@ManyemaKasongoDescendent It is common for government websites to use Wikimedia versions of the coat of arms regardless of their factual accuracy. That means that government websites are not necessarily reliable. The Democratic Republic of the Congo is not the first country to do this. This has happened to, among others, The Gambia, Zambia, Fiji, Morocco, Eswatini, Nigeria, and the list goes on. The coat of arms you call fictitious is not fictitious. See http://www.leganet.cd/Legislation/JO/2014/Numeros/JO.15.01.2014.pdf https://www.bgr.bund.de/EN/Themen/Min_rohstoffe/CTC/Downloads/kongo_manual_gold_en.pdf?__blob=publicationFile&v=8 https://ocongo.com/en/congo.php. Do not do this again or someone may block you. 24.12.3.153 20:59, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- which government websites are you referring to? The sources/hyperlinks you have given aren’t government websites.
- Moreover, We are not discussing other countries. We discussing the Democratic Republic to the Congo. The sources/hyperlinks you have used to justify you ill-conceived argument are nearly a decade old and not official websites - presidence.cd/detail-symbole/2 is very clear about the coat of arms used. Furthermore, government communications, social media, and other
- I’ll be very happy to revert it back if you can give me a government website that uses it: not leganet.cad (which isn’t a government website), not bgr.bund.de (which isn’t a government website) nor ocongo.com (again, not a government website)
- P.S.
- I must ask, you do you think African governments are inferior. This is an unrelated question of course… ManyemaKasongoDescendent (talk) 21:12, 12 May 2023 (UTC)

- My friend, this isn’t an “edit war”. I will gladly revert back to the version you deem is correct if you can give me a hyperlink/source that is not a decade old. You stated “government website” as justification and yet you have failed to offer any. I’m not trying to be crass. You are just wrong… ManyemaKasongoDescendent (talk) 22:06, 12 May 2023 (UTC)

- I’ve responded adequately and it seems your attempt to thwart the official emblem has failed. Good day to you! ManyemaKasongoDescendent (talk) 15:52, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
