Bloom clock

Hi there (love the name). I noticed you're contributing quite a few floral pictures, and wondered if you're aware of the Bloom Clock on Wikiversity. The clock is more or less a research project where contributors record when they have seen plants in flower, and eventually we use this to make "visual keys" to help others identify plants they've seen searching by season, color, type, and other features (for example, here in Pennsylvania you'd use this key in July). There are a few templates to learn, but only a few and some folks have become rather passionate about it. Personally, I'd love to see keys for Florida, since I vacation there once in a while and have very little knowledge of the plants :-). --SB_Johnny | ^talk 11:24, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
