Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at Wikimedia Commons.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

Re: FoP-Taiwan

去年討論過FoP，但是問題還在。由於前陣子忙於處理積壓，現在我即將離開Wikimedia Commons，所以現在才有空向你討論。

這一次FoP問題是宗教，因為台灣很多寺廟，門上有門神，牆上有壁畫，這些都是室內的2D作品。我注意到台灣有幾位用戶熱衷於「寺廟藝術」，長年下來就累積了很多照片是在寺廟內拍攝2D作品，那些門神、那些壁畫，照片可就很多了。由於台灣的寺廟之多，那些2D作品的寺廟藝術是幾乎成為每一座寺廟的必要裝飾。按照當前的FoP-Taiwan政策，室內的2D作品是不允許的。一旦要提交全數刪除，屆時影響是很廣的，他們可能會質疑FoP-Taiwan政策是否有問題。我建議，應該向他們這些用戶一起討論，重新檢討FoP-Taiwan政策。我推薦，向紀橋、Outlookxp二位討論。--Kai3952 (talk) 04:25, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
