Dag Geert Van Pamel, ik neem aan dat ik in onze gemeenschappelijke taal antwoord kan geven. De foto's van de pop zijn verwijderd niet omdat het auteursrecht van de foto onjuist was - jij hebt die foto zelf gemaakt en correct gelicenceerd, waarbij je er niet aan hebt gedacht dat de (beide) poppen bescherming genieten. De reden voor de verwijdering is dan ook dat de pop zelf beschermd is door het auteursrecht. Op de verwijdernominatie is betoogd dat het 2D ontwerp van TuX gelicenceerd is met CC0, maar dat de poppen in 3D die daarvan zijn afgeleid een eigen auteursrecht hebben verkregen. Zie voor meer informatie COM:TOYS. Speelgoed is in de VS beschermd door auteursrecht. Bovendien kan je betogen dat de pop er wel heel anders uitziet dan TuX. Volgens mij mag je zo een foto niet publiceren, omdat het onderwerp, de TuX pop, beschermd is door auteursrecht. Zo heb ik zelf ook vaak zulke fouten gemaakt (een foto van een beeld van Walt Disney vanwege NOFOP in Frankrijk, een paar schaaltjes met decoraties van Corneille... en vast wel meer). Maar dit is een twijfelgeval, omdat TuX zelf CC0 is. Ik heb alles hersteld, je hebt een formele melding op je OP gekregen, en je kan je mening uiten op Commons:Deletion requests/Photos of TuX dolls and toys. Op de afbeelding staat dat de fotograaf, Eleonora Cornelia Geenen - van der Togt, is overleden op 3 maart 1945. Daarom is die foto in het publiek domein.
