please categorise your images![edit]
Hi Andrev, nice images. Please look in your Gallery (tab at the top of this page) and put any images that say "orphan!" into a category or on a gallery page. Then other people will be able to find them and use them too. Thanks, pfctdayelise (translate?) 02:17, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Andrev, you just categorise them the same way you categorised the other ones such as Image:Naftacene.PNG (click on "edit" and have a look). Put [[Category:CATEGORYNAME]], on the image page. You can put multiple categories if they are all relevant. cheers, pfctdayelise (translate?) 11:34, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- (after edit conflict) Hi Andrev, I saw your question on pfctdayelise's talk page. To put an image into a category add the following code: [[Category:XXXX]] at the end of an image page. See for example Image:Benzoepyrene.PNG and click on edit (I hope I put the right categories there). A gallery page can be made by making an article Chemical compounds (or something with a better name, I know little about chemistry) and adding the images to it with the gallery tag. See for example the code of Sé Velha de Coimbra. I hope this answers your question. Cheers, NielsF 11:45, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
