Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hello Jimfbleak!

Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.

To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.

You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

I recently submitted an article about the 1922 Olympic Truck which you messaged was denied for publication. I would like to point out that this article is meant to be historically informative and factual. It is in no way self serving as the Olympic Truck Company went out of business in1929 - and Ben's Truck Parts went out of business in 1996. Hi Jim, 1987atomheartbrother (talk) 10:31, 1 May 2021 (UTC) It appears that there is concern about the painting and not the text of the article - is that correct? I can remove the painting and substitute and article with photo from the 1922 Tacoma Gazette and other photos I took if that helps. I am having a difficult time understanding how to navigate and address issues on the Wikipedia site - so I hope this is the right way. Thanks, Paul Etsekson@gmail.com

Hi Jim - saw you'd recently made a map File:MapTurdus torquatus.jpg; not sure if you'd missed there is already one File:Turdus torquatus distribution map.png which is more detailed, including subspecies, and also Teide on Tenerife (ref), which yours omits. Machan Taylor by Dion Ogust

Hi Jim. The photographer is emailing their release of this photo to Wikimedia Commons: I created a link they could use to reference the photograph with their statement of this release: to transfer copyright of the linked images to <tvar|>Wikimedia Commons. I suppose I chose the wrong category somewhere. But the photographer intends to transfer this copyright. I need a link for the to refer to an image on Wikimedia Commons so how can I fix what I must have done wrong? I suspect the email will arrive in the next few days. I don't think that there is actually much I can do, I'm not an admin on Commons, and I don't have OTRS access to deal with email verifications, but thanks for letting me know Jimfbleak (talk) 08:54, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

How long it takes generally to get WIkipedia page approved?

I'm having a hard time

I've been in communication with you and every time you respond, I have to figure out where the response is and how to respond. I feel like I'm all over the place. I have 5 men messenging me at the same time so I'm not certain if I responded to you. The photos have been tagged properly. Just had a volunteer apologize for assuming my pic was not properly copy written. He said they weren't tagged by a Wiki volunteer, such as yourself, and he assumed what he shouldn't have. I'm feeling personally attacked as all of the people contacting me are white men and are only going after my pictures. I feel I'm being singled out. Taborah (talk) 18:03, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

Sepiorosario, so what is the truth? Is it your image, as you claimed when you uploaded, or hers that she has authorised you to use? Either way, it makes no difference. Whatever rights you claim, we require that any images uploaded here are free for anyone to copy, distribute or modify for any purpose, including commercial. We can't verify your claim to have permission, even if it's true, but we can see that her website clearly still claims copyright. There's no PD or Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence on the page as we require. I think that you need to clarify if there is a financial relationship with her, since you claim to own rights to her images. If so, you will need to make a paid editor declaration. My thoughts about what happened

I most likely deserved a ban, but I'm hoping to be unbanned, I know that I did something wrong, but I was banned from Wikipedia not even 2 days after I got an account, plus, I couldn't help but write about my interests, I won't do that again. From my perspective, I was on Wikipedia for the first time ever, I tried to experiment a little bit, then i got banned Aaaajsudidjdhdbne (talk) 20:11, 6 October 2023 (UTC)

About the removal of Military Engineer Services (Bangladesh) Article in Wikipedia

Jimfbleak,

Why did you delete an importan article on wikipedia. It is based on a real organization in bangladesh. It also avalible in bengali language in Bengali Wikipedia. I know user Rishad Talukdar is in violation of ban or block but When I See his replys on wikipedia other users he was a new member and he thought that new accout or many account may not fall him in this situation. He was trying to contribute in wikipedia for bangladesh organizations. I know User Rishad Talukdar did not follow the rules of wikipedia but his article is useful for wikipedia. Kindly forgive him and revert that article again.

About Kieran Spears on Wikipedia (Wrong reason for deletion)

It seems like you deleted Kieran Spears wikipedia page due to being "self-written." It is not self-written and I want you to restore the wikipedia page.
