Were you seeing the big shadow on the original upload, or the small shadow left in the second version - I just noticed that the image page was showing the original upload version, rather than my crop uploaded over top. I have seen many dead animals but this is striking in that it is complete, not half eaten, not fly blown, not decomposing nor squashed road kill. Looks as though it died suddenly - head is thrown back, maybe a broken neck after falling from a nest. It tells of a life cut short before it had the chance to open its eyes and see the world - I think it is a wee bit special :-) --Tony Wills (talk) 12:56, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

That is probably better (although colours look a bit washed out in that corner). But I just noticed that the image page was showing the original upload version, rather than my crop uploaded over top.
