分甲、乙兩編。甲編為1938年至1940年雲南大理蒼山東麓及洱海周圍文化遺址考古調查報告。分五章:總述、馬龍遺址、佛頂遺址、龍泉遺址、白雲遺址。詳記各遺址的地理環境、發掘經過、文化層的情況,並對出土文物詳加考察、分析、製圖。對各遺址時代加以考證。乙編為1938年11月在雲南大理地區遺址中發現的有字古殘瓦研究報告,又名「點蒼山下所出土古代有字殘瓦」。報告分5節:發現與發掘經過、各遺址之位置、情形、史實及傳說、有字殘瓦之研究、同出之遺物、時代之審定。後附英文提要及文字瓦拓片百餘張

Important note: Works of foreign (non-U.S.) origin must be out of copyright or freely licensed in both their home country and the United States in order to be accepted on Commons. Works of Chinese origin that have entered the public domain in the U.S. due to certain circumstances (such as publication in noncompliance with U.S. copyright formalities) may have had their U.S. copyright restored under the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (URAA) if the work was under copyright in its country of origin on the date that the URAA took effect in that country. (For the People's Republic of China, the URAA took effect on January 1, 1996. For the Republic of China (ROC), the URAA took effect on January 1, 2002.[1])
