評介柏格森與倭鏗的哲學思想。1913年兩人在美國著名大學發表演說,美國阿博夫(L./Abboff)從應用方面解釋二氏學說,認為伯格遜的哲學可稱之謂進步哲學,歐根的哲學可稱之謂精神生活哲學,但兩人哲學的共同點在:以人生為精神的經驗,以自由進步為主旨,一反機械論與宿命論的舊說。本書以此說為基礎,介紹了這兩位的哲學思想。全書分為現代兩大哲學家介紹、伯格遜哲學學說批評、歐根人生哲學述要等3部分
