Toyota Pickup

[edit]

Hi Karam89, and welcome. I saw your edit to the Toyota Pickup image, and was just curious how you could tell that it's a 1994 or newer? I was trying to figure it out the model year myself, and would love to know how you can tell that it is not a '92 or a '93. This is not me disagreeing with you, I am just looking to learn. Best, hope to see more of you, mr.choppers (talk)-en- 04:13, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Mr.choppers: Hi, so sorry I failed to notice your post until more than 2 months later but better late than never! Anyways, how I am able tell that the Toyota Pickup is a 1994 or 1995 model is by the distinctive pop out third brake light (also known as a CHMSL or Center High Mounted Stop Light) which can be seen on the back of the roof. By 1994, all pick up trucks, SUVs, and minivans in the USA and Canada were required to have a third brake light for safety measures.
Cheers, thanks! mr.choppers (talk)-en- 00:53, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
