From KHETAJI SOLANKI "A farmer from Banaskantha district of Gujarat, which is famous for potato farming, had a unique farming experience after he harvested muskmelons in his seven bigha land. using latest harvesting techniques,khetaji solanki produced 140 tonnes of muskmelon and earned rs.21 lakh is a short span of 70 days.he harvested the muskmelon on February 12 ,2018 and the crop was ready by second week of April . on one side, we have farmers not fetching proper price for potatoes, and on the other we have solanki, who is just 7th standard pass, showing a way to other farmers with his unique idea . solanki used good quality seeds, employed drip irrigation and made use of solar water pump to get the desired results" Khetaji Solanki (talk) 02:18, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
