Motd page/edit info shows previous month templates, but page/edit info for Potd shows current month templates?
If I click to edit the Commons:Media of the day page, via the normal Edit link, then the "Templates used on this page:" section (near the bottom of the edit page) lists the templates used for the previous month: September.
For example, it shows Template:Motd/2016-09-15 as being used on the page for the current month, even though the preview is instead actually showing Template:Motd/2016-10-15's content.
This is also true if I click Page information.
However, the rendered page and edit preview still display content for the current month: October.
Although, if I repeat all this on the Commons:Picture of the day page, then in the Edit and Page information links show the current month, October.
I would have expected the Motd to say that current month templates are used on its page, not last month templates. Potd does as I expected it should, but I'm not familiar with how this was all set up. Is this an error, or is it intended to be this way? And was this the right place to ask this? Audio recording of a steam, gas-pumping engine made by Easton & Amos of London, and used by the South Metroplitan Gas Company, Old Kent Road, London from 1864 to the mid 1950s, and now at Thinktank, Birmingham. The engine is started from cold. First, steam is allowed through the cylinders, their drain cocks open, to warm them. The flywheel is rotated by hand, to set the engine in motion, and the recording ends with the engine ticking over at low speed. Recorded as part of a 2015 Wikipedia residency at Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum.

Notre-Dame animation
Aerial panning shot of destroyed roof of Notre-Dame, showing damage to vaults. The charred remains of the timbers are mostly lying on the vaults, not in the nave; Gothic cathedrals were designed to do this when the roof burned.
I can't seem to figure out if this is the correct pace to post this, or find the relevant discussion; apologies if this is the wrong place. I find the currently-featured animation of Notre-Dame less informative than this aerial panning shot of the roof, which I cropped (sadly, it is watermarked, and more conspicuously than the current animation). The current animation is nice for showing the surroundings, but it was made at an early stage and does not really show the structure of the cathedral, or how the framework in the belfry also partly burned, though it mentions the resulting danger of the bells falling. The framework of the spire is also rooted at the same level as the roof, and while both are encased in lead, there is no roof between them. The lead on the spire was leaky and the spire may have acted as a chimney. I'm thus not sure it makes sense to say that the flames burst through the roof and engulfed the spire.
