User talk:Discovery Firm
Our first steps tour and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki—it is really easy. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel irc:wikimedia-commons #wikimedia-commons (direct access). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing. |

Your Image[edit]
- Well then just reupload the image, place {{Otrs pending}} just below the license and send an email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org and specify the exact link(it's not my email address, it's used by the whole commons project to receive permission). - Sorry, please do not copy&paste the whole template, just use {{Otrs pending}}
How do I change the size? When I put it on wiki it takes up the whole page?Discovery Firm (talk) 07:37, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Nerzhal. Do you know how I can make a box with the credits and how can I put it with the rest of the Japanese Documentarys as a link?Discovery Firm (talk) 07:53, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'm not familiar to that myself. Maybe the people at w:WP:WikiProject_Films can help you. Regards --Nerzhal | ?! 08:03, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Edit: I found the following template to display an infobox: w:Template:Infobox_Film
- I deleted it because it is & remains a copyright violation. If you do own the copyright then please look at OTRS to provide confirmation of that to the Foundation. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 06:53, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Have you really send the confirmation mail to OTRS? Please look at COM:EMAIL again, write an email using the template given there and try to prove that you are the copyright holder. If you can, use <anything>@discoveryfirm.com as sender address if possible. --Nerzhal | ?! 10:17, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- You should now have an OTRS number which should be added to the image with the OTRS template. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 08:03, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- If you look at the OTRS page (the link is above) you will see it states "An OTRS volunteer will either confirm the permission is OK (in which case you can use a template below)". The template has space for a ticket ID number which you should have got if you have approval. Place that on the image. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 12:54, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Looks fine to me. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 06:58, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
