Scary copyright notices all over the place. And the photographer updates them consistently too. Why CC BY was selected on Flickr is a mystery. (why this was kept is a mystery) Ruthven already deleted some in a similar DR, but appears to have missed a bunch. Also it appears that some Commons uploaders didn't copy the Flickr description (or sometimes it was removed afterwards) so we don't know exactly which files had a notice when they were uploaded here. I had found at least two files that had no notice on the original Flickr page, but this was an exception. The photos from one of those shoots (four photos) have no description at all, the photos before and after do. (including scary notice)

Comment, but the photographer already uploaded the images in flick under CC BY 2.0. By that we can share and distribute freely. -Afifa Afrin (talk) 05:11, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Afifa Afrin: and only God (and the photographer) know why he selected CC BY, because there is no evidence at all he ever wanted that. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 05:31, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Weak delete In court the photographer would likely lose. The reason for that is that when you draft a contract and I agree to that contract, the court must take my reading of contract into consideration much more than yours. Therefore what we have here is an implied contract that says: 1) You cannot use or alter, 2) You can use and alter under these conditions: attribution. However, we normally respect the copyright holder and delete such files. ℺ Gone Postal ( ) 10:02, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Gone Postal: I forgot about this DR..
Knowing what I know now about Flickr, selecting Creative Commons is too easy. You are not informed of what you are doing. However, there is one option here: Flickr licenses are easy to update, descriptions (as it turns out) very hard. So if for whatever reason the photographer decided to release the photos, they could changed the licenses but left the descriptions intact because hard. To find out if this is the case here, I'll try to find any photos that were uploaded in or before 2015 and contact the photographer. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 10:14, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responding. If you can contact them and make sure that would be awesome. I really have hope that people will start using Free Licences more and more and that this case is such. If the photographer actually intends to release the photos, we can undelete those that have already been deleted. ℺ Gone Postal ( ) 10:19, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Gone Postal: I just asked through Flickrmail. The only photo that was uploaded before 2015 appears to be File:Sonargaon Folk Arts & Crafts Museum.jpg. All the others were uploaded later. It's possible someone asked SAM Nasim to release this one photo in 2013 and the photographer later decided to release everything. All the other photos were uploaded here in December 2015 or later. The last photo to be uploaded to Flickr was (it seems) https://www.flickr.com/photos/samnasim/20294655986/ in August 2015.
Alternate option: see if the Flickr page of one of the photos uploaded here was archived on archive.org before 2015. If such an archived page shows "All rights reserved" instead of Creative Commons, we'd know they made the conscious decision to change the license. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 13:59, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
