- Info Detail of the Nicolaaskerk (Hemelum) is a hall church built in 1668. This door handle in the door of the church from 1668 is completely worn out and partly rusted.

- Answer: View the history of the Church. Click here: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolaaskerk_(Hemelum). The handle is in my view totally worn out!--Agnes Monkelbaan (talk) 12:14, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, so yes, 19th Century brickwork and (I guess) door and handle. Still well worn though. Charlesjsharp (talk) 14:04, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

- Support I've wrestled with this photo for what feels like a long time. At first glance, one might react "So what? It's part of a scuffed door with a damaged handle", but I see the same interesting colors, shapes and light you saw, it's interesting, and while it's hard to judge "wow", I think this is a worthy photo for people to look at, as an example of finding photographic interest and composition in motifs most people wouldn't think twice about or photograph at all. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:44, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
