Thank you for your contributions. Your image or other content, File:Athar on the set's of udhamgarh.jpg, was recently deleted, or will soon be deleted, in accordance with our process and policies, because it was not, or is not, within our scope. Please review our project scope, but in short, Commons is targeted at educational media files including photographs, diagrams, animations, music, spoken text and video clips. The expression “educational” is to be understood according to its broad meaning of “providing knowledge; instructional or informative”. Wikimedia Commons does not contain text articles like encyclopedia articles, textbooks, news, word definitions and such. Each of these other kinds of content have their own projects: Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Wikisource, Wikinews, Wiktionary and Wikiquote. If the content seems to fit the scope of one of those other projects, please consider contributing it there. Otherwise, consider an alternative outlet. If you think that the deletion was in error because the contribution really was in scope, you can appeal it at Commons:Undeletion requests, giving a reason why it fits our scope to help others evaluate the matter. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Wikimedia Commons, a non-profit media repository with the primary scope of providing educational and informative images and media. Self-photographs or photographs of family members and friends, where these photographs are not educational and are not used on any project, are considered to be out of the project scope and may be subject to deletion.

If you have objections to the proposed deletion of your image(s), please see the links to the relevant deletion discussion(s) (listed above or below this message box). If the image is already deleted, you can appeal it at Commons:Undeletion requests, giving a reason why it fits our scope to help others evaluate the matter.

This message is not intended to be taken personally. Thank you for your understanding.

What is your issue
Wikipedia commons is meant for this-
Read carefully
Images that you upload to Wikimedia Commons have to be educational and freely licensed. While "educational" may be a vague category, "freely licensed" is quite specific: We can accept most images that you create entirely by yourself, so long as your image does not itself depict another copyrighted work.
Have you read carefully" freely licensed" - i hope you understood simple english terms.
This image is a free licensed image so what is your objection?

Media on Wikimedia Commons are either in the public domain or published under a Creative Commons copyright license that allows them to be reused free of charge.
So anyone can use this image as far as the owner doesn't have any issues regarding that.
And you are nobody to question the narrative of wikimedia or the licenser of these images. Account hacked (talk) 20:27, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please read COM:EDUSE and COM:NOT. --Achim55 (talk) 20:33, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Account hacked, from what you have written here, I think I can safely say that you are not in a position to question my English or reading comprehension. Your punctuation aside, comments about licensing in response to scope issues are bizarre and indeed suggest you've not bothered to read the referenced guidance. I also note your account attached to the Commons today--12:16, 30 December 2023--and indeed after having been indefinitely blocked on hi.wiki, whereas I am an administrator and checkuser with a more than 16-year tenure. While I make mistakes like everyone else, I would suggest you reassess the likelihood that I, rather than you, misunderstand the purpose of the Commons and image licensing. Your sole upload, after all, is also a blatant COM:NETCOPYVIO from here. Эlcobbola talk 21:02, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
