Schikbarend weinig[edit]

- Alexis Jazz ping plz 22:39, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Geen resultaten op archive.is. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 14:53, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Now what[edit]

@: I collected this YouTube CC-BY license info from Bing. Many of these videos are worth uploading. (and a bunch already was) DW they may contain can usually be cut. nlwiki mostly uses this for portraits.

But now what? The Bing cache expires as we speak. I don't think the license reviewers can keep up. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 21:06, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging @4nn1l2, Jeff G., you have any bright ideas? - Alexis Jazz ping plz 21:14, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexis Jazz: If you upload all videos which are marked with CC found, LR please confirm by a tool or bot, I can review their licenses soon (less than 24 hours). Then we have enough time to actually see the videos, delete useless ones, or trim unfree scenes... But don't count on me for uploading or editing video files, because of my unstable Internet connection. 4nn1l2 (talk) 23:03, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@4nn1l2: starting now. For future reference (without asking you to help with uploading here): you can delegate uploading of YT videos to video2commons. Your internet connection isn't used for transferring video that way. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 14:19, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I will clean up descriptions, categories and DW later. I added search links for Commons to the project page. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 14:41, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Also please undelete File:5 jaar Nationale Politie.webm and add LR if it didn't already have one. That was a poor DR of mine, we don't have any image of him in uniform. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 14:49, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Also please undelete and review File:Johnny de Mol vindt dat foute humor moet kunnen.webm. (Commons:Deletion requests/File:Johnny de Mol vindt dat foute humor moet kunnen.webm)
Nevermind undeletion, I reuploaded them. Until recently Video2Commons degraded the quality of YT videos and this will make it easier for me to make screenshots. I also reuploaded https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlJsu0OFJJU. (edit: and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcKMyxFvVtc) - Alexis Jazz ping plz 19:34, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Me so slow! - Alexis Jazz ping plz 19:38, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'll come up with something to cut DW from everything and take screenshots. I don't know how yet, but I'll figure it out. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 16:16, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
✓ Done Both restored temporarily and license-reviewed. Of course, I meant "don't count on me for uploading edited videos". I have technical abilities to edit videos, but I just can't upload them. I'm sure one should use their Internet connection for that. Anyway, if videos are not edited within a short period of time (say a week), I will simply delete them myself; I don't try to save them. 4nn1l2 (talk) 19:41, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
File:5 jaar Nationale Politie.webm and File:Johnny de Mol vindt dat foute humor moet kunnen.webm were deleted again as duplicates of File:Erik Akerboom over 5 jaar nationale politie.webm and File:DWDD Johnny de Mol vindt dat foute humor moet kunnen.webm respectively. 4nn1l2 (talk) 05:29, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I greatly appreciate your help. I literally couldn't do this without you.

One week, for everything? I will do what I can, but one week, I hope I'll make it.. We're talking about more than 200 files. (not all will need editing though)

Schedule:

  1. Complete uploading (almost done)
  2. Do some categorizing and related stuff (related stuff can wait)
  3. Mute musical performances
  4. Remove other DW
  5. Related stuff and better categorizing
  6. Take screenshots of everything
  7. Insert them into Wikipedias
  8. ?
  9. PROFIT

Back to uploading for now. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 20:09, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That's right. One week is not enough for editing about 300 videos. One month is better. Maybe Dutch-speaking users help you with editing videos if you raise this issue on the Dutch VP. I know there is already a thread about this issue. 4nn1l2 (talk) 11:15, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@4nn1l2: I will set up some workflow to remove third-party footage and musical performances with more ease. Don't be alarmed if I don't process a single video for the next few days. I'm also taking it a little bit easier now. I really pushed myself, creating this list and uploading 281 videos. I had to alter the description for every single one due to bit.ly/ow.ly links which slowed me down quite a bit. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 08:53, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexis Jazz: How is it going with the workflow? 4nn1l2 (talk) 15:18, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google caches YouTube? Who knew?[edit]

@4nn1l2: Leoboudv had added a link to http://cachedview.com/ for one file. I was like, wait, wut? I never saw a "cache" link for YouTube on Google, but as it turns out, Google does cache YouTube. File:Peter en de Wolf Special - Rusland anno 2018.webm for example can be confirmed this way. I added links for Google cache. (convenience only, I haven't checked yet which files can actually be confirmed this way) - Alexis Jazz ping plz 22:59, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

License available on Google cache, all uploaded[edit]

Reviewed by Leoboudv[edit]

@Gone Postal and GRuban: and 4nn1l2, Leoboudv had to sign off (so do I.. I'm a wreck), can you finish the reviews? You can use the "try Google cache" link or http://cachedview.com/. I also checked the files on the main page, Leoboudv appears to have found all that could be reviewed with Google cache. I will run another check on that later today, but I don't think Leoboudv missed anything. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 08:50, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google cache, Error 404[edit]

@Alexis Jazz: There are 5 red marks in the list. Could you please fix the links of Google cache for the red marks in chunks 23, 24, and 25?

4nn1l2 (talk) 08:44, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@4nn1l2: Google cache links are generic. No guarantee they work. The Bing links worked when I made the list.
Bing appears to have lost the cached copy. They had a copy from 5-1-2019. Sometimes it helps to wait for a few minutes and try again.
Fixed the Bing link, but Bing appears to have lost this page as well.
"Below is a snapshot of the Web page as it appeared on 2-2-2019 (the last time our crawler visited it)."
Luckily nl:Ellie Lust has a good photo already. I have these three Bing archived pages (all of them actually) saved on my computer, if you want I could mail them. But I can't prove I didn't tamper with them (I didn't, but I can't prove it), so that may not be good enough for a license review. This is why there was such a rush on all this. I'm amazed how much we were able to save though! - Alexis Jazz ping plz 09:10, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bing appears to have lost the page. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 09:19, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Same. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 08:24, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
So, we couldn't save these 6 videos due to time restrictions:
  1. File:Jurre Geluk over het nieuwe seizoen van Je Zal Het Maar Hebben.webm
  2. File:DWDD Heimwee- Hier is... Adriaan van Dis - Ghayath Almadhoun en Anne Vegter.webm
  3. File:De tentoonstelling 'High Society' in het Rijksmuseum.webm
  4. File:Ellie Lust over 'Ellie op patrouille'.webm
  5. File:Berend Boudewijn over de erfenis van Mies Bouwman.webm
  6. File:Dominic J. Marshall Trio optreden DWDD 2017.webm (in chunk 64)
I am sure about the first 5 files, but I'm not 100% sure about the 6th one. Can you please confirm this, maybe by deletion requests (COM:CSD#G7)? Of course, there is no rush, and you can postpone this to some days later. 4nn1l2 (talk) 09:30, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@4nn1l2: The 6th link also says "Could not find the requested document in the cache." I will request G7 for the two files for which Bing shows the 2-2-2019 date. For the other four, I want to wait for a bit. Bing has these cached and they may come back in the next few days. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 09:47, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@4nn1l2: these now say "Below is a snapshot of the Web page as it appeared on 2-2-2019 (the last time our crawler visited it)."
Requested G7. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 08:30, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Now they went back to "Could not find the requested document in the cache". Perhaps it's even possible to see different cache dates/snapshots depending on which server handles your request. I will request G7 for all. If one happens to come back I'll ask for undeletion, but I'm not counting on it anymore. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 08:34, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
For me, the first 5 files were always snapshots of 2/2/2019. I checked the date of snapshots for all the files that I reviewed. Only for these 5 files, the snapshot of Bing cache was post 1/11/2019 (11 Jan 2019). Sometimes it says "Could not find the requested document in the cache", but when I press Enter key, snapshot of 2/2/2019 appears. It appears the 6th link has never been available via Bing cache. 4nn1l2 (talk) 08:51, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

11 January[edit]

"The CC license from DWDD videos disappeared around 9-10 January 2019."

I can see some snapshots from Bing cache that DWDD videos were still available under a CC lisense on 11 January 2019:

4nn1l2 (talk) 00:51, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. I don't know how they removed the license. Perhaps they didn't remove the license from all videos at once. I just don't know. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 08:46, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
