Just wondering if you could possibly comment at Commons:Deletion requests/Fictional achievements of arms on whether you think the arms I've created which are based upon Sodacan's work are apparently "fictitious", according to DrKiernan anyway. Many thanks. TRAJAN 117 (talk) 19:13, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Special Barnstar
Thanks of manually replacing hundreds of images across all the Wikiprojects (so I didn't have to), and for your tireless contribution to the field of heraldry and vexillology on Commons. Thank you! Sodacan (talk) 05:26, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Hello

Hello. Of course I can give it a try, however it will take some time before I will be ready. I have to finish another request first, and it is rather big one. Cheers! Avalokitesvara (talk) 09:47, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Puerto Rico

I´ll see it, there are different variants but they are really similar. You asked me for the reverse of the Texas seal a long time before. I'm sorry for being really late, but I've really busy with the different sections of the country. I've done it with other notable examples of Spanish heraldry overseas. Thank you Regards--Heralder (talk) 03:51, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, re: the flag

Just wanted to say thanks for uploading the (mostly) corrected version of the CARICOM flag on the old file of Flag of CARICOM.svg. I found it so difficult to use Inkscape I resorted to using a vectorizing program to convert the correct image from bitmap into SVG and then posting it as File:Flag of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).svg when I found I couldn't overwrite the Flag of CARICOM.svg file. Once the light blue in the upper half of the flag (in the Flag of CARICOM.svg file) is matched to the correct shade as seen on the CARICOM website and on the file I uploaded then I will go through the process of undoing all the changes I made (which shouldn't take more than a few minutes). Thanks again! Caryb (talk) 18:56, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Flag map of Spain

Greetings, I just wanted to say that the territories of Ceuta and Melilla File:Ceuta-melilla.png are missing on the map of Spain. Would you enhance it? I can make no graphic design contributions myself because I have no tools or practice. Thank you / Muchas gracias User:sergiomarinero 23:58, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Heralder

Hello!

There're the seals you asked me for. I´m sorry there aren't the Governor variants, I had a problem with the letters, I coudn't know the typography for the female variants. I think too many variants could create confusion among the users. Other reason is the time, there are a lot of variants and I need time for the Spanish regents, provinces and capitals coats of arms. I think the most important (except the governor female variant) are done. If you don't speak Spanish, be careful in Spanish is "Sello de la Gobernadora de Puerto Rico" there're are male and female articles.

Puerto Rico

It was a long time before you asked me for the Reverse of the Seal of Texas. I know it's really late for it, I couldn't assure you that because the Historical arms and the Armed Forces emblems took me a lot of time. There are the notable examples of the US Spanish heraldry presence.

You may be interested in the heraldry of the Americas, there are colonial arms I done at Commons here:

Doing unnecessary stuff

Regard File:Coat of Arms of Kirovohrad Oblast.svg: I'm tired of having to endure your incorrigibility, and again until someone has to intervene to third knock you over the knuckles. Please stop it I've rarely met a person like you and by this statement I am not alone. You seems not to disturb anything, on the contrary, it makes you fun people to bully with unnecessary stuff. -- πϵρήλιο 03:37, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you think that I'm gonna stand by an be personally attacked by you, when that was absolutely uncalled for, and just back off because you again attack me a second time and then give me a "final warning", you are sorely mistaken. You have absolutely no clue what I do here when you accuse me of always "putting my opinions above official sources". If you really encountered me anywhere near as much as you think, I'm always changing things to match official sources, all the time I use sources, and the few times I don't, I still have a good reasoning when I change something. I'm the one who has had to endure now TWO unsolicited personal attacks and name calling by you. If you wanna report me, go ahead, but you better be prepared to answer for your actions as well. Your requests to delete valid files

I have noticed that you had requested the deletion of some files, for example Commons:Deletion requests/File:Eisenhower Interstate System.png, basing on there is a vector version available. The project scope is providing a media file repository to make available public domain and freely-licensed educational media content to all and acts as a common repository for the various projects of the Wikimedia Foundation. Using SVG files helps on rendering sometimes, therefor existing the Vector version available template, which is just an indication to people use the SVG for that reason. But, it isn't a reason to delete a file that is available on a different format. The file above has a valid source and a valid license according the licensing policy, so there is no reason for deletion of the file. For example, how can you compare, for educational purposes, the difference between SVG files and PNG files, if you delete PNG files? If that happens, then educational valuable files will be lost. Blond (talk) 19:18, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We don't need two of the same thing, or inferior files when a better one is available. I will nominate files where I feel it's valid to delete them, if you don't like it, you can make your argument for it to be kept on the DR page. Fry1989 eh? 19:21, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Category:State military crests of the United States

I'm considering working on some additional items for this category; however, they are more correctly identified as "Army National Guard" or just "National Guard" crests, rather than state military crests. Since you have already submitted files for this category, would you mind if I put a name change request to have their names more correctly identified? I'd like to have the category's name follow suit as well. Thanks.--Glasshouse (talk) 20:11, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Go ahead. Fry1989 eh? 23:12, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Royal arms of Scotland

Just wondering if you could possibly comment at Commons:Deletion requests/Fictional achievements of arms on whether you think the arms I've created which are based upon Sodacan's work are apparently "fictitious", according to DrKiernan anyway.
