In extreme cases, an entire network may be blocked to prevent an abusive user from continually changing their IP address in order to evade blocks or abusing multiple accounts. Administrators: CheckUsers are privy to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy, and therefore must be consulted before this block can be removed. Users: You may request {{unblock}} through the normal channels, however a CheckUser will review the block. Comments: Sock of Eretif

. Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 16:06, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Jim,
- Could you please unblock me as I am trying to learn how to properly edit the licensing of art that my employer erroneously uploaded? I know it seems I am abusing multiple accounts, I am simply trying to find an example of how to cite the art as fair use. Thank you.

- I would appreciate any and all guidance you may have for making these edits in a non-abusive manner. I have appropriate citations from the Louisiana Digital Library with the according copyright. Please advise on how I can correctly make these changes. LC Cook (talk) 16:17, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
- Can you please advise so I may continue my work for my employer? I can send any proof necessary. This is not a sock puppet account for eretif, he is my boss. LC Cook (talk) 20:27, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
For clarity, ERetif is my employer. I work from his home office, which may be why I was flagged if it's dependent on IP address. LC Cook (talk) 16:29, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
