khmer letters[edit]

Hello

Thank you for your uploads. I've noticed the size of the letters varies, some are too small. Woould it be possible to have the same size for all of them; that is the big size. Regards.

How do I manage Khmer language to the same size? After the Khmer language update Finish.

 you're welcome🙏🏻😊— Preceding unsigned comment added by มองโกเลีย๔๔ (talk • contribs) 23:01, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand your uploads. The size was good, then you change it to something too small! (File:Km 01.svg for instance)
Also the language of the description is often wrong "fr" for English it should be "en".
Thanks for your uploads, the are useful. --Io Herodotus (talk) 15:47, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please make your signature link to something[edit]

Hello. I've noticed that in your recent deletion requests (for instance Commons:Deletion requests/File:Latvia road sign 522.svg) your signature does not have a link in it. A link to your user page, user talk page, or contributions is required by the Commons:Signatures policy. The simple way to put the links back is to turn off “Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link to your user page)” on Special:Preferences. --bjh21 (talk) 14:26, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Bjh21: I concur with the above, your recent batch of deletion noms still have this issue, please update your signature. EoRdE6(Come Talk to Me!) 17:12, 22 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: The signs in this link are up to date. You can edit accordingly. https://www.kgm.gov.tr/SiteCollectionImages/KGMimages/Trafik/Isaretler/duseyisaretleme.pdf --Jelican9 (talk) 23:18, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Historic signs[edit]

I believe it would be best to upload revised signs, such as File:Macedonia road sign 365.1.svg as new files, leaving the historical versions so that we can have a record of them. Thanks for your work. Fry1989 eh? 15:05, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

SNV typeface[edit]

Greetings. I would like to ask where you found a Cyrillic alphabet version of the SNV typeface. I have been searching for the last week and have only found it in the Latin alphabet. Fry1989 eh? 20:50, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Fry1989Macedonian traffic sign font Bulgaria has In one document the Bulgarian government in designing traffic sign fonts, but I relied on it to adapt some Roman fonts to Cyrillic fonts such as Aa B Cc. or the inverted V letter л of the SNV font like this. Mongolia44 17:36, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey friend, could you possibly link the website from where you've downloaded the SNV cyrillic font? Or upload it somewhere where we can download it? Just like the person before me, I've been looking for it for weeks and still can't get to find the cyrillic version anywhere. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 178.223.104.132 (talk) 16:26, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There's one missing road sign in Latvia[edit]

Hello. I found the road sign standard in Latvia on the Likumi.lv website https://likumi.lv/ta/id/274865-celu-satiksmes-noteikumi. There's one road sign missing, this sign named "Gājēju un velosipēdu ceļa beigas" and has a number 422. This road sign marks the end of the separate pedestrian and bicycle path. It has a white vertical line in the middle.

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Latvia_road_sign_422.svg

The previous image with that filename has already been deleted before. So pls create an SVG image for this road sign. WWBM (talk) 12:18, 31 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Road signs with settlement names in post-Soviet states.[edit]

Hello. I'm here. Thank you for creating images of road signs with settlement names, namely Entrance to built-up area and Leaving built-up area in white; Entrance to locality and Leaving locality in blue in post-Soviet states.

Pls note that the setllement names ЛИПЕЦК and ОРЛОВО in Cyrillic script are only for Russia. Can you create such images of road signs with settlement names for Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan? And also Uzbekistan mainly uses Latin script on road signs as well as the country's official language. I'm still working with w:Draft:Comparison_of_road_signs_in_post-Soviet_states. I have already created a lot of missing images of road signs in Lithuania and Ukraine in SVG since January 2023. WWBM (talk) 17:35, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for sending me a message. If the traffic sign is a sign telling the city-settlement of the country of Kyrgyzstan, if using the same letters as Russia, there may be a little more special characters, which may be used in 2 lines, which the traffic sign tells the name of the city. - settlement has uploaded and the name of the city - settlement of Uzbekistan I have done this April 13, may find the name of the city. who thinks everyone is familiar with the name of that city, such as the capital city of Uzbekistan or important cities, because now I'm still working on making road signs of Estonia, group 500 and group 600 that haven't been completed. Anyway, thank you for coming here. Mongolia44 17:59, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

SNV typeface with Cyrillic script[edit]

Hello. Recently I started creating missing images of road signs in Bulgaria. I'm not able to find the SNV typeface with Cyrillic script. Can you help me finding this font? User Fry1989 wanted to find this font but he didn't get a reply from you. WWBM (talk) 20:32, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sir@WWBM and Sir@Fry1989 I apologize for the late reply because I am currently doing research on special topics in public administration. I have to answer like this first, divided into 2 big questions:
1. The font used for Bulgarian traffic signs is used in conjunction with Serbian traffic signs. ,Macedonia, other countries use this font, there are a few countries in the European Union, there are former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria, that is, use of Bulgaria, but it is a government document by the bureau. The Bulgarian national standard is PDF, and now we are using the method of adopting the font in the Cyrillic alphabet by applying it to the Bulgarian alphabet as well, partly without having to redo it. But if it's a font that doesn't follow the Bulgarian style, then use a design method by adopting that model. If both Users want this font, I'll do it. If you want, please send me an email. too
Item 2 is that now we are busy on special topics in public administration, so we do not have time to make traffic signs. There may be free time on holidays, so I gradually clear and complete the traffic signs, probably the former United States. Pictured all 15 Soviet states, of which the 4th is now.
1. Azerbaijan
2. Moldova
3. Tajikistan
4. Latvia
Now I made a few remaining Russian traffic signs that are standard in 2019. And one thing is that some countries where the font of traffic signs are still out of line with the standards, like Armenian font looks like it's very vague, so I had to read the standard manual of the former Soviet Union's fonts in different languages, such as the Armenian font. Georgian letters Cyrillic alphabet Uzbek alphabet by trying to delete the file or re-upload, but at that time I uploaded according to the standard But with good hands, they took another sign that did not meet that standard. so have to re-upload If you need the former soviet alphabet, then I can send it to you by e-mail if possible to help ease the burden of making traffic signs in the Soviet Union and snv Cyrillic.
thank you very much sri. Mongolia44 17:38, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
Hi. Yes, I would be very interested. It appears I can't send you a wiki-email, but you can send me one to receive my email address. Thank you. Fry1989 eh? 21:01, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sir@Fry1989 You can inbox my email at this address "catmamud.34@gmail.com" You can talk to me first, I'll send you the file in the font of the Bulgarian traffic sign and also the Bulgarian traffic sign format. Around 9:00 a.m. Thai time zone Thanks sir Mongolia44 18:28, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File names of signs in post-Soviet states[edit]

Hello. I'm here again. Recently I just recreated some images of road signs in Kazakhstan you've created many years ago. The file size is now much less that the previous one. Recently I requested renaming the files of road signs in Kazakhstan, choosing the reason 1 - requesting the rename from the original uploader. But my requests were rejected because I'm not an original uploader.

I want to suggest you renaming the files of SVG images of road signs in post-Soviet states. The reason is that images of road signs in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus already have the ISO 3166-2 two letter country code (RU for Russia, UA for Ukraine, BY for Belarus). But now it's time to move away from using the full country names in files of road signs. Moreover, the file names will be shorter. Can you request renaming the files of road signs in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, you've created?

Update file name to comply with ISO 3166-2. KZ is the two-letter ISO 3166-2 for Kazakhstan. Moreover, the file name will be shorter. Russian road signs already have the RU code in their file names. For example, File:RU road sign 5.1.svg (Russia).

For example, File:KZ road sign 7.19.svg instead of File:7.19 Kazakhstan road sign.svg. Just move the road sign number 7.19 to the end of the file name after "road sign". WWBM (talk) 21:34, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sir@WWBM Okay, I understand. No problem.I'll handle it Mongolia44 22:21, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In addition, I recently added a lot of new information to the article about road signs in Kazakhstan in the English-language Wikipedia. I was recently able to find out that in 2021 a new СТ РК 1125-2021 standard was adopted, in which new road signs were introduced, but in fact most of them have already been used in Russia for a long time. File:Peru road sign P-60.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
