More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Freigabe Innenräume St. Nikolaus[edit]

Hallo DIZer,

erstmal vielen Dank für die Fotos vom Bischofssitz in Limburg. Hast du eine Freigabe für diese Fotos erhalten? Da sie nicht unter die de:Panoramafreiheit fallen und der Bischofssitz kein öffentlich zugängliches Gebäude ist, können Innenaufnahmen nicht ohne weiteres hier unter freier Lizenz verbreitet werden.

Leider habe ich erst jetzt Deine Mitteilung gesehen, da ich mich nur ab und zu einlogge.

Ich kenne mich mit rechtlichen Dingen nicht so genau aus. "Öffentlich" könnte man natürlich auch so interpretieren, dass es sich zum eine zeitweise Öffentlichkeit handelt. Auch der Limburger Dom ist natürlich nachts geschlossen. Ich habe meine Bilder, zu sehen am Datei-/Aufnahmedatum, anlässlich eines öffentlichen Besichtigungstages am 24. Oktober 2015 gemacht. Dabei war Fotografieren entsprechend einem verteilten Informationsblatt sogar ausdrücklich erlaubt. Insbesondere, nur zur vorbeugenden Klarstellung, ist also nichts mit "versteckter Kamera" fotografiert worden. Hier noch eine Ankündigung für den Termin davor, der ausdrücklich vom "öffentliche[n] Bereich des Gebäudeensembles" spricht.

Sollte das nicht reichen (immerhin gehen Deine Bedenken ja vom angenommenen Sachverhalt eines nicht öffentlich zugänglichen Gebäudes aus), könnte man sich natürlich an die Diözese wenden. Ich denke, dass dies angesichts des Transparenzbestrebens keine Probleme geben würde. Ist das aber wirklich notwendig?
