Hello Esby!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Commons images are used by editors on many projects in many languages. Each image is put into categories. This helps other editors find them. Please add categories to each image you upload.
To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.
-
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:
-
-
This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.
For further information on categories read Commons:Categories.
The CommonSense Tool often helps you find the best category for your image.
Here is a gallery of your images. Please check that each image has a category. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the help desk. Thank you.

[edit] Cascading protection
I'm just wondering, but why did you protect File:BEA Viscount 701 at Manchester.jpg with the cascading protection enabled? --The Evil IP address (talk) 00:48, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] I. M. Pei Louvre Pyramid.jpg
Hello Esby!! Remember me?! I just want to know why you "friend" Jastrow, another administrator deleted the image deliberately and without discussion!! I asked you a favour, remember?!? I know it´s not your fault... But I'll be honest enough, because I have personality, and above all character, to say that I will put that picture again, and if I receive a message again, it will be deleted, i will expose this situation and the user account and make sure, these all images will be deleted, really, i don´t care. Beacuse, in according the politics in Wikimedia Commons, we need to make Wikimedia Commons free with copyrights and i hope that, this rule is enforced for all images and without exception! Very unpleasant what your colleague did... With no education, no sense of discussion, no nothing...I think she is the worst administrator i had seen... You are better and more understanding person. Thank you. --Light Warrior (talk) 22:13, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, but there is no such thing as 'favor' when it comes to serious stuff, at least on Commons. For your policy reference, the medias on Commons have to be free, that does not mean we have to fight to liberate them. Jastrow only did what is was logic to do. Images without De-Minimis rational here can't be kept. This has nothing to do with favors or anything else. Just use another image, that has a DeMinimis rational enough to keep it. - Hello and thanks for your answer and sorry for my late response, i didn´t stay on internet on these days. I undertood your position as admin. here, i hope you undertood my position as well... And of course, i don´t stay here, to make a "war" or something like that. I´am not profissional at all and don´t spend hours to stay here or on internet, but if you have time and patience to teach me how this De-Minimis works, sure, i will be very gratefulI! I know that you may have more to do here, rather be here with me.. But if asked you to teach me, you will do? Here or by msn?! Look, i´am not an problematic person. Thank you. - Thanks Esby for your attention. I read about the link as you indicated. So, if following with this image as a censored image and this one, maybe i can put like this (?!?) I don´t know if remember my photo, but the photo don´t focus the entire pyramide, but also the fountain and le Arc de triomphe du Carrousel as a background, do you think if i used an cropped image, it works?! Like the following exemples?! Thanks a lot. Light Warrior (talk) 00:27, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

- One more thing... I do not know if you live in Paris ... but I have to say that you french people is a very polite people and a wonderful city! I felt this, and of course, without diminishing other people. I hope someday to return there, because it is impossible to see everything in 5 days... :-/ The Atmosphere of your city, was something that fascinated me enough ... Something... magic... Very beautiful. Personally, there was something I waited for years to go... almost after 30 of my life... Congratulations! Light Warrior (talk) 00:40, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

For your information: There was a strange complaint added to the image description. --Martin H. (talk) 05:55, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- I don't really know. It could be M. Cayssiols, not sure actually. It is true that I did not necessary explained to all people I photographied these days that the photographs were going to be published. Now the legal complaint are void. (invited) People in public events can be photographied without their consent. This guy was here presenting his books about the local mountain (of Montpellier). Not sure it is him or not. Esby (talk) 11:39, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, the Personality rights explains this. I just wanted you to let you know, I also dont see any problem. --Martin H. (talk) 13:23, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
