Category:Images from Artsdatabanken

Hi, I just want to notice to you that the domain have been white listed, so if you wish it you should be able to upload directly from the web site. I tested with some files such as File:Ctenodiscus crispatus 03 Espen Rekdal.jpg however there is a kind of bug, I used GWToolset and I had to remove the "s" form the https of the file URLs, overwise I had error messages. So if you want to upload directly from the web site, whether you use GWToolset or not, I think you will have to do the same thing. These 2 Pixabay images

Dear Admin Lymantria,

May I first wish you a Happy 2021. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year than 2020 was with so many people dead, unemployed or barely surviving on their limited incomes due to C-19. My University campus in Vancouver at UBC is closed and all the university libraries are also closed, so borrowing a book is impossible. Classrooms are all done online at present.

Secondly, these 2 pixabay images were taken before January 9, 2019 but were "published" on pixabay after this date.

Perhaps the first DR here should be closed as delete for the 2 reasons given. It is almost unusable and it is unused.

The first photograph should not have been uploaded. See Category:Photographs by Walter Stoneman for more detailed information, you can read there that local upload to enwiki is possible. Good Day,
I am STC1

I recently received 2 warnings wrt to Special:AbuseFilter/70.
I had used CropTool to crop images I found on wikicommons and uploaded the cropped images to corresponding Wiki Pages.

I have ZERO CLUE as to where I went wrong. The Page for AbuseFilter/70 says: "You may not view details of this filter, because it is hidden from public view."

Can you please help me understand this? so I do not repeat the same mistake again?

Oh Gosh. Thank you.

But just to clarify, am I allowed to use CropTool and crop such images (CC-BY-3.0) files "in-wiki" and then upload them via CropTool? Or would it be better to just crop them on my computer and then upload them as a newer version of the same original file ? (I'll leave the licencing blank, as I believe that CropTool is adding the BollywoodHungama license.)

Temporary license review

Hello Lymantria, I hope you're doing well. I came across your edits of granting temporary LR rights to Aurelio de Sandoval. I believe I'm good at finding copyvio and tagging it. I have posted my LR request twice, but it was declined. At the beginning it was not done due to my history of mistake. But I'm really working hard to be good volunteer. I'm searching for opportunity to help out with clearing backlog with only youtube files. So if you think after a brief look at my work. It is not a requirement, adding {{LicenseReview}} should be sufficient, or special tags like {{YouTubeReview}} or {{Flickrreview}}. Those special templates often let a bot review the upload, which is the most efficient way. If there is not bot review, it can take quite a while before someone actually reviews. Hi! C1K98V is a new license reviewer and wanted some tips from an oldie. He asked me about this file yesterday but it was getting late so we decided to continue today. The file is licensed free on youtube but C1K98V and I was discussing if the actress is the copyright holder or if she just (re)posted it. My idea was to review it but to start a DR.   • @C1K98V: I assumed that, as the actress being the owner of Youtube channel and being part of the film, is the joint copyright holder of the videos they develop and upload, and the photographer was part of the film-production crew or Anand audio.
    If the actress is not considered a joint copyright holder and as there are logos of Umapathy films, Anand audio and the film itself, the decision about the file is left to the admins. It is also worth mentioning that the teaser [1] was premiered on her Youtube channel 2 days (Dec.15) before it was released [2] on Anand audio youtube channel (Dec.17), so it might not be considered as a re-upload. --Gpkp (talk) 05:56, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
