Welcome![edit]

Hello, SpinoDragon! I noticed your recent paleoart uploads. I've been a fan of your art on DeviantArt for a while, and I'm glad you decided to share some of it on Wiki. If you are interested, it would be great if you could add your artwork to the Dinosaur Image Review page or Paleoart Review page. Here, other experienced Wikipedian paleoartists can check your work for accuracy and usability. Once again, welcome! -SlvrHwk (talk) 21:21, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Sorry I didn't respond! I'm grateful to hear that you're a fan of my artwork. It means a lot! I noticed that my Abditosaurus piece was on the infobox today and I was overjoyed seeing it on there! I would love to share my art here and help out making art for pages about new dinosaurs! Thank you for welcoming me! SpinoDragon145 (talk) 19:13, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Invictarx[edit]

Hey, I am working on a cladogram of Thyreophora with images, based on the recent Raven et al. paper. Would it be OK with you if I uploaded a version of your Invictarx illustration with a white background for use here? It would still be sourced to you under the same license, of course. Thanks, -SlvrHwk (talk) 03:39, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Of course! I'd be happy to see my old sketch in your cladogram! SpinoDragon145 (talk) 04:19, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cool, I uploaded it here.
I also have an unrelated comment that I wanted to bring up for future reference about the preferred/"proper" way to add categories to images. For example, on File:Invictarx zephyri.jpg, you have "Invictarx", "Nodosauridae", "Ankylosauria", "Thyreophora", "Ornithischia", and "Dinosauria" listed as categories. However, the "Invictarx" category is already nested within the "Nodosauridae" category, which is in turn nested in "Ankylosauria", and so on. The preferable way to categorize images would simply be "Invictarx" and "Nodosauridae life restorations". For some genera with several life restorations, you might use "[genus name] life restorations" rather than the parent taxon. It's not a huge deal but it helps to keep things more organized on Commons. I hope this makes sense and is not too confusing. Let me know if you have any questions.
Anyway, I look forward to your future contributions! -SlvrHwk (talk) 05:00, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see, I guess I went a little overboard, lmao. Thanks for letting me know! I appreciate all of the help. SpinoDragon145 (talk) 17:57, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
