File upload bot talk page
There is a message on the file upload bot talk page pressing people not to use it because you don't check it. Unfortunately bots can't read that message and still try to use it. A licence template added by that bot is now deprecated and bots are now telling your file upload bot that if nothing is done about it the file gets deleted. In most of the cases the fix needed is trivial and your bot is the only entity that gets warned. I'm just an anon who happened to notice this and who will be gone in a second, but I just thought you might like to know so you can take the proper course of action. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 22.214.171.124 (talk • contribs) 06:30, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Wiki2XML extension
Hello, I have been making use of your wiki2xml.php extension at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Wiki2xml
I have been using it for a project hosted on Drupal: http://drupal.org/sandbox/TommyKaneko/1090360
I would like to relicense the file wiki2xml.php under the GPL v2 license, and begin to maintain it independently on Drupal.org. I believe that the code will actually fork away from its current intended use.
May I have your permission to do this?
Many thanks, Tom Kaneko
[EDIT] -permission granted. Thank you.

Bug with Original upload date
- This bug, which falsifies facts, is always occurring if the date in the source project is given in
YYYY-MM-DD(another example). --Leyo 10:33, 14 January 2013
Parliament building of Benin
I saw the picture mentionned in the subject on the Benin page as well as Porto-Novo page. And it is written that it is the siege of Benin Parliament. Please, note that this is wrong. The building name in French is Palais des Congrès which can be litteraly translated as Palace of Congress, but its purpose is just to host events like seminars, conference and meeting. Benin Parliament siege is the "Palais des Gouverneurs" in French. And it is located in Porto-Novo, not Cotonou. Since i'm not used to editing wikipedia articles, I think i might let you know so you can correct this.
Better source request for File:Larry Cretul.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Larry Cretul.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the file because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the file, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the file itself. Please update the file description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the help desk or me at my talkpage. Thank you.

Hallo, wo sind denn die Alpakas in Lennep? Ich habe heute welche in Halver-Edelkirchen gesehen. -- 184.108.40.206 17:56, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
