- Almost anything can be a valid subject of study, indeed, and advertising is no exception. It's not out of scope on Commons; it's just not something I think should be featured. If it were a particularly notable commercial, then maybe, but I see no evidence this is that. It just has a budget. If FVC turned into a vehicle for any company with an advertising budget or non-notable youtuber (referencing a different nomination) who releases their stuff with a CC license, I would certainly lose interest in FVC. — Rhododendrites talk | 13:41, 30 May 2020 (UTC)

- Comment What's up with that weird skip shortly after 00:35 in the english version ("… Soyus space caps-to the …")? Sounds like an error in editing to me. Also the audio seems to be clipping at several spots within the first few seconds, especially at ca. 00:06 ("… my first space flight …"). --El Grafo (talk) 11:29, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
- No skipping; it's "Soyuz space craft to", and your noticing the speaker's Italian accent. As for your other point, I guess an orbiting space station isn't the optimum venue for audio recording. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:53, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
- Whoops, OK, really sounds like there was a bad cut going on to me. If that's an accent thing, I won't complain. Clipping audio has nothing to do with being on a space station, though – it's just a matter of setting the input level appropriately and keeping the volume of your voice and distance to the microphone reasonably constant. It's a minor flaw though. --El Grafo (talk) 12:42, 17 February 2020 (UTC)

- Support FV for me. The above comment seems more like a political standpoint than evaluating the quality of the video itself. Whether or not the launch was important or not shouldn't play a role for the vote. -- Ainali (talk) 13:38, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- Of course, the launch is important. The question is different: whether the video is a good illustration of the launch or not. What aspects of the launch does the video portrait? Does the video contain distracting details? Those are technical questions relevant to the quality of the video as educational material, not a political dispute. —Роман Рябенко (talk) 20:04, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- I expect the video to provide more footage of the launch. Alternatively, it could investigate further the importance of the launch. Probably, both. Otherwise, it is like a press release. --Роман Рябенко (talk) 20:37, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
