Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Thank you, Nick. The photographer who has the copyright for the photo

File:Newman Oltman Guitar Duo Under Tree.jpg is Lisa Mazzucco. She sent in an email granting the commons license for the photo on Jan 17 and received the following reply (which she sent me) - Dear Lisa Mazzucco,

Thank you for your permission to use media file(s) on Wikimedia Commons.

For us to process your contribution(s), we need to know the specific name or URL of the page(s) on Wikimedia Commons to which you have uploaded them, or the user name used to upload.

If you have not yet uploaded, please continue to upload the file(s) and let us know when done. When you reach the second page of Upload Wizard, you should select "This file is not my own work" (even if it is your own work) and put {{subst:OP}} in the Source field to mark the file as awaiting processing.

If the file(s) were deleted, please do not attempt to re-upload them; they will be automatically restored by an administrator upon successful confirmation of permission.

Since I had previously uploaded the file (my user name is AnnRos and I got the image from https://www.guitarduo.com/photos/) Lisa and I read Alfred's note as saying not to reupload the photo since it will be restored. The license was supposed to take about 11 days to review, which is about now. Should we do anything more to restore the file? Thanks AnnRos (talk) 22:01, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
