Thank you for reviewing this file.

Could you please review the ticket? I note that the license requires photographer attribution, but no attribution is provided. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 22:14, 6 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

The copyright holder specifically requested that his name not be listed in the author field. Captain-tucker (talk) 11:52, 7 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi there,

I'm the photographer, and uploaded the work under an open licence. The subject of the photo also created the artworks depicted in it, and I see from her cc that she correctly sent in a release for the "works depicted", as their creator. I hope that clarifies things. Thanks! — Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 07:24, 11 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Yes, VRT permission tag has been added. Captain-tucker (talk) 13:15, 11 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Deleted images on my user page

[edit]

Hello @Captain-tucker, many images have been removed from my French Wikipedia page. I'm not very up to date on licensing, but I found these images on the Inducks website, whose license (here) states that the site's content is copyright-free. (And moreover, some of the images I put on my page had been scanned by me) But maybe the images violate the Disney license?

Thanks, Drmfslsl (talk) 14:06, 19 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Drmfslsl, It did appear to me that those images had Disney copyright designs in them. If you feel strongly about the license claim feel free to post on COM:UNDEL and a different impartial administrator will provide another opinion. Captain-tucker (talk) 14:11, 19 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I don't know the exact licenses. Images cannot be published without a license from the Walt Disney Company. This is at least the case for print publications, but the Inducks website and many other websites publish these images, without permission from the Walt Disney Company... Again, I would recommend you filing a post in COM:UNDEL if you feel the images were deleted in error. Captain-tucker (talk) 14:59, 19 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
