Wikimedia Commons does not accept derivative works of non-free works such as File:American-muscle-main.gif. It only accepts free content, which is images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Reproductions of copyrighted works are also subject to the same copyright, and therefore this file must unfortunately be considered non-free. For more information, please read Commons:Derivative works and Commons:Freedom of panorama. You can ask questions about Commons policies in Commons:Help desk. The file you added has been deleted. If you believe that this file was not a derivative work of a non-free work, you may request undeletion.

Your recent uploads[edit]

Hello, you asked me to restore some of your recently deleted uploads, e.g. the Barwis logos. Please note that even if your company owns all rights to these images, we cannot simply restore these files. We have a rule at Commons that the free permission for all images that had previously been published elsewhere need to be confirmed by the copyright holders via email. This is because anyone could create an account here and claim to be a spokesperson for the relevant company or even the original artist.

Please see Commons:OTRS for instructions on how to send an email to our volunteer team and confirm the free licenses for all your uploads. Please note also that we need a free permission for anyone to use the logos for any purpose – this includes the permission for changing the images and selling them for profit, so they may no longer be unique to your business. Regards, De728631 (talk) 19:31, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

PS: Your files will be restored automatically once your email notice has been processed by the OTRS team. They have a large backlog though, so this may take some time. De728631 (talk) 19:34, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
