Anche quest’anno torna Wiki Loves Monuments: da oggi al 30 settembre puoi partecipare caricando le tue foto per contribuire a illustrare il patrimonio culturale italiano: vai sul sito wikilovesmonuments.it e scopri come fare!

Oltre ai 20.000 monumenti già in concorso, quest’anno si aggiungono più di 60.000 edifici religiosi, tema centrale di quest’edizione. Prendi la tua macchina fotografica, o il tuo smartphone, e individua i monumenti in concorso tramite la nuova web-app – disponibile sia da mobile che desktop – app.wikilovesmonuments.it, da cui potrai anche caricare direttamente i tuoi scatti. Sono ammesse anche foto scattate prima del concorso, purché siano inedite.

A livello nazionale verranno premiate le dieci migliori fotografie: cinque per gli edifici religiosi e cinque per le altre categorie di monumenti; queste immagini parteciperanno anche alla fase internazionale del concorso. Non sono ammesse immagini con watermark o cornici, né fotografie eccessivamente elaborate in postproduzione. FP-Kategorienänderungen

Hallo Diego,

wie Du vielleicht weißt, kümmere ich mich seit einiger Zeit um die „Instandhaltung“ der Featured-picture-Galerieseiten. Im Zuge dessen und um das „Aufräumen“ der Galerieseiten zu erleichtern mache ich zur Zeit zusammen mit W.carter einen Abgleich zwischen den Galerieseiten und den Kategorien für Featured Pictures. Für einige Themen gibt es zwar eine spezielle Galerieseite bzw. einen Abschnitt, aber keine Kategorie – und umgekehrt. Daher sind einige generelle FP-Kategorien auch völlig überfüllt, z.B. Category:Featured pictures of architecture. Ich werde in nächster Zeit einige neue FP-Kategorien anlegen und dann die FPs teilweise auch in diese verschieben. Das hat heute gleich am Anfang insbesondere einige Bilder von Dir betroffen, daher schreibe ich Dir. Ich versuche, bei den Änderungen vorsichtig zu sein; viele Stadtlandschaften, die ich zur neuen Kategorie Category:Featured pictures of cityscapes hinzufüge, belasse ich auch in der Kategorie Category:Featured pictures of landscapes, wenn sie nämlich Stadt- und Naturlandschaft zeigen. Falls Dir trotzdem Fehler auffallen, bitte ich um Verzeihung. Falls Dir Probleme auffallen oder Du Hinweise zur Verbesserung der FP-Kategorien hast, freue ich mich über Deine Hinweise. Super wäre es, wenn Du gelegentlich einen Blick auf Deine zahlreichen FPs in der überfüllten Kategorie Category:Featured pictures of architecture werfen könntest und manche davon in die spezifischeren Kategorien wie Category:Featured pictures of bridges etc. verschieben könntest. Hallo Diego, inzwischen habe ich ein bisschen mit den FP-Kategorien weitergemacht, aber das hat sich als größeres Unternehmen herausgestellt, da die FP-Kategorien teils bereits sehr detailliert sind (z.B. bei Vögeln ;–), teils noch ganz rudimentär. Ich werde sie nach und nach weiter durchsehen und „abzurunden“ versuchen. Das wird eine Weile brauchen. Es gibt aber schon ein paar neue Kategorien, die recht nützlich sein dürften und die Du gerne bei Deinen FPs anwenden darfst (das wäre sogar eine große Hilfe!). Insbesondere Category:Featured pictures of gardens and parks, Category:Featured pictures of agriculture sowie Category:Featured pictures of architectural elements mit Unterkategorien wie z.B. Category:Featured pictures of ceilings, Category:Featured pictures of fountains und Category:Featured pictures of stairs kommen in Frage. Misidentification in Iceland

Hi. I recently found two photos by you that were misidentified. Image:Fiordos_cerca_de_Vattarnes,_Vestfirðir,_Islandia,_2014-08-14,_DD_109.JPG and File:Fiordo Vatnsfjörður, Vestfirðir, Islandia, 2014-08-14, DD 112.JPG. I don't know where the first image is but it's not Vattarnes. The second one is not Vatnsfjörður, it's Vaðall. I know mistakes can be made, specially when you are not local to the area, but please be vigilant and only add a description that you know 100% to be correct, especially since these mistakes can quickly spread and linger for years. @Финитор: Hello, what I mean by "poor detail" is that I would expect for a shot like this (but maybe not for a wildlife shot of a shy species) more resolution so that I can appreciate the texture of the flower.
