Le tutoriel des premiers pas et la FAQ peuvent énormément vous aider. Ils expliquent comment personnaliser votre interface (pour la langue par exemple), comment importer des fichiers, sans oublier les licences. Des compétences techniques ne sont pas indispensables. Soyez clair et présumez des bonnes intentions des autres. C'est un wiki - rien de très compliqué.

Bonjour, juste un petit truc pour t'aider, le projet Commons est en anglais, du coup le nom de l'espace utilisateur aussi.

  • à la place d'écrire Utilisateur:Poussin jean
  • il faut écrire User:Poussin jean

J'ai donc créé Category:Files by User:Poussin jean et déplacé demande quelque'une de tes images de la Wikipédia francophone. Tu peux la compléter en rajoutant aux images que tu importe la syntaxe [[Category:Files by User:Poussin jean]]. Enfin, généralement tu places tes images dans le domaine public. Sur commons le modèle c'est {{PD-self}} (je suis l'auteur et place mon travail dans le domaine public). ~ bayo or talk 15:53, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Körnerbrötchen explique qu'il faut choisir entre GFDL/CC-BY-SA ou domaine public.
En effet, PD (public domaine, domaine public) veut dire que tous le monde peut utiliser l'image qu'importe le contexte ; GFDL/CC-BY-SA indique que le contexte de la réutilisation doit être a son tour libre (liberté de modifier, de vendre...) GFDL/CC-BY-SA est en fait plus restrictif que le domaine public, et donc ça n'a pas trop de sens d'indiquer les trois licence, le domaine public anile les deux autres. ~ bayo or talk 00:02, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Moi francais est male, mais if you put a picture into public domain, the other two are nul. Because nobody would choose CC or GFDL then. They all would choose public domain because then you do not do anything. ← Körnerbrötchen - @ 08:19, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
