•  Support Wish the EXIF was there. Trying to tell how much of the texture is leftover noise, oversharpening, or just dust on the bird. Either way, I'd support.   • Sadly lost the EXIF while moving disks and editing, didn't realise until you told me, a fair bit is indeed noise, this was shot on a cloudy day on a Canon 7D mark II at 1/800, ISO 3200, f/6,3 and 600mm with a Sigma 150-600mm contemporary. The bird was also a bit dusty but I doubt this is what is showing up in the picture. --Alexis Lours (talk)
