First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.
Made a mistake?
  • Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
  • Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

都道府県の地域区分図について

Qurren (talk)と申します。都道府県の地域区分図をアップロードされておりますが、おのおのの画像の作成者に利用の許可は取られておいでですか。Commons:ファースト・ステップ/ライセンスにある「フローチャート」をご覧下さい。「この作品の権利保有者はウィキペディアのフリーライセンスでこの作品が公開されることに同意していますか？」との問いに対して明確に「YES」であると分かる状態でないと、アップロードはご遠慮頂くことになっております。ご確認下さい。--Qurren (talk) 07:21, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ウィキメディア・コモンズでは、営利目的であっても利用して構わない、フリーなファイルしかアップロードできない決まりとなっております（Commons:プロジェクトの守備範囲#フリー・ライセンスまたはパブリック・ドメインであること）。非営利目的での利用に限られたファイルは申し訳ございませんがご遠慮頂いております。
それから、各画像に「クリエイティブ・コモンズ 表示-継承 4.0 国際」のライセンスを付けて頂いておりますが、本当に「クリエイティブ・コモンズ 表示-継承 4.0 国際」ライセンスで提供されていましたか？--Qurren (talk) 10:27, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

はじめまして、8-hachiro と申します。Oshlel様の解釈に疑問があります? たとえば File:奈良県の地域区分.png の原典は がんネットなら ですが、このサイトでも リンク・著作権について と、掲載した著作物、プログラムの著作権は奈良県が保有し、複製・転用・販売といった二次利用を禁じることがサイト上で明示されています。--8-hachiro (talk) 12:39, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
大阪府や滋賀県も画像利用に関しては同様のスタンスのようです。和歌山県はコンテンツをCC BY 4.0 国際にて提供しているようですが、写真や画像、シンボルマーク、ロゴ、キャラクターデザインについてはこの限りでないようです。ja:パブリックドメイン#パブリックドメインと区別されるべきものも参考になるかと思います。
気象庁については政府標準利用規約2.0（CC BY 4.0 国際 互換）で利用できるようですので、ライセンスタグを適切なものに差し替える必要があります（差し替え済みの例：File:気象庁の長野県の区分.jpg）。気象庁の地域区分図については元がPDFですので、あえてJPEGなどに変換せず、PDFのままアップロードするのが望ましいと考えます。PDFでも問題なく記事に掲載できますし、JPEGなどに変換しますと画質の劣化が避けられません。--Qurren (talk) 11:11, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
