Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Peacock video

Hi, I noticed that you recently added a short video clip to the Wikipedia article on peafowl. Thank you for your contribution! However, I have removed the video from the article: the video description suggests that the peacock who is the subject of the clip is going to "display" his tail (presumably as part of a courtship dance)— this would have been very exciting to see! But unfortunately this never happens: the cock only grooms himself briefly, and the clip ends. It would be GREAT for us if we could have a video of a peacock actually showing off his feathers, and I think such a video would greatly improve the article! Is there any chance you could take and upload such a video? I would wholeheartedly approve of such an addition! Please consider the request, and please do not interpret my removal of the video from the article as any sort of commentary on your desire to contribute to Wikipedia or to Commons— we always need good editors and good providers of visual media, and I look forward to seeing more of your work here soon. Also, another heads-up: I also removed your video clip of Canadian geese eating grass from the Wikipedia article on Canadian geese. Again, please do not take this the wrong way: the video does show geese eating grass, but I am not sure this is particularly helpful or interesting for the article. Wikipedia articles need to be limited to relevant and practical information and media, and I have removed your video in the interest of not allowing the article to become cluttered. If you feel that I have acted prematurely, you are welcome to undo my edit or to bring up the subject on the talk page for Canadian geese. You are also welcome to leave a message for me here— I will read it within the next day or two. You can also contact me via my own talk page by clicking on the word "Talk" in my signature. Thanks!
