Hi Ysabella, you're now a filemover. When moving files please respect the following advice:

Use the CommonsDelinker link in the {{Rename}} template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one. Or, if there was no rename-request, please use the Move & Replace-tab.
Please leave a redirect behind unless you have a valid reason not to do so. Other projects, including those using InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references. Please see this section of the file rename guideline for more information.
Please know and follow the file rename guidelines.

Criterion 1

Hi Ysabella, if an uploader requests another name, with a recent request, you cannot decline it. It's their choice to use Koi or Carp, or something else. Please read the guidelines. I also notice that you are new here and already nominate someone to become filemover. Be careful with that, please. Thanks for your attention. PS You also declined another Dutch file, because of a typo. That typo fix was correct, so I renamed it. Better stay with English files, etc. But that's only an advice. Thank you very much for your advice. You are of course absolutely right. In fact, I did not notice that it was the request of the original uploader, because in that case I would of course have agreed to the rename request. Thank you very much for correcting my mistake, I usually like to clean it up myself, but in this case it was probably better that you noticed it, otherwise the renaming request would probably have been lost. French spelling / Rechtschreibung in Französisch and use of categories

Thank you for sharing pictures on Commmons.

May I add a comment? Please do not change file names in French with a creative but false writing, e.g. File:Extérieure de la mosquée d'Genève (2).jpg. But is seems you copied this pattern from somebody else?
All names of pictures of mosques in French speaking Switzerland (Category:Mosques in Romandie) should be modified... from "Extérieure de" to "Extérieur de" and from "d'Lausanne" to "de Lausanne" for all places with a name not starting with a vowel. The Category:Mosques in Romandie is a bit strange. Category:Romandie is not yet used for this kind of grouping. It is written that “...die Sprachregionen im politischen System der Schweiz nicht existieren...”. We prefer to use the cantons for grouping.

Salut @MHM55: Me again and that's why I'm mentioning you again. I didn't had much time this afternoon and only replied briefly by cellphone. I see you speak and read French fluently. (oder soll ich lieber Deutsch schreiben?) I'm honest, I worked with translation tools, I checked it at least 5 times with because I wanted to do it right from the start and it was still wrong in the end. I'm embarrassed. Okay the full name on the Extérieur-File would be "Extérieur de la mosquée de Lausanne". Is that correct? What about the Intérieur-files? Are they correct or also wrong and should, example File:Intérieur de la mosquée d'Sion.jpg renamed to "Intérieur de de la mosquée de Sion"? Danke für deine Hilfe. Dear Ysabella. The "red links" above, the proposed names, are ok for me. I can read French (mother tongue), English and German. Note regarding categories: the "intérieur"="interior" files should all be in the Category:Mosque interiors in Switzerland, which belongs to Category:Interiors of religious buildings in Switzerland. There is no Category:Exteriors of religious buildings in Switzerland (not yet) probably because the default is the exterior ; look at Category:Exteriors of religious buildings to see the current situation regarding the exteriors. Oregon flag proposals

I see you removed my copyright violation tags from several Oregon flag proposal images. So I don't waste anyone's time nominating them for deletion, can you please explain to me why you believe none of them are copyright violations? All of them were created by other people, and there is no evidence they released the copyright of their designs. The uploadeer claimed them to be "own work" and released them as creative commons, but he did not have the rights to do so. Saying "the name is even given" does not make sense – attribution does not change whose work it is or the copyright status. Reywas92 (talk) 16:52, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Then you could basically propose all flags from en:Proposed flags of U.S. states for deletion. They are all labeled with different license tags, some with, some without, further source information. Some examples from other uploaders are File:2024 Design of the 1901 Maine Flag.svg, File:Proposed flag of Minnesota (1957).svg, File:Minnesota North Star Flag.svg, File:Minnesota flag submission F1154.svg, File:Flag of Illinois 2025 redesign finalist (4321).jpg, File:Proposed Montana Flag (1979).png, and at last File:Proposed flag of New Hampshire (2023).svg. Yes indeed, many of those may also be violations, and it was inappropriate for those uploaders to claim it as "own work", and it was also inappropriate for you to remove the tags just because the ones I happened to see were from the same user or because other files may have the same issues.
