Maybe wrong maintenance category

Hi Zhuyifei1999, i have seen that your bot added a lot of categories here: [1]. It seems wrong to me since all the files contain an {{Information}}-like template named {{Map}}. Maybe this is due to changes in this template? --09:01, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

@Multichill: It appears no one with access cares enough. Sadly, Zhuyifei1999 retired and indicated that SignBot is part of yifeibot and pointed me to https://toolsadmin.wikimedia.org/tools/id/yifeibot, which lists Eatcha and Steinsplitter as maintainers, but Eatcha semi-retired and Steinsplitter can't fix it.   — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 20:32, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
I will probably fix it (the signbot) by next year (1 Jan). I also believe that the sign-bot requires significant changes to avoid theses recurrent glitches. I can't commit to looking into the issue with "maintenance category" anytime soon. Found the source of the problem and fixed it. In this edit user:Jheald switched {{Map}} to use Module:Map but forgot about {{Infobox template tag}}.
Every file on Commons should either be in Category:Media missing infobox template or use {{Infobox template tag}}. If that's the case, something is broken so the bot adds Category:Pages using Information template with parsing errors.
I patched up the template. A more permanent solution should be to do it in the module like in Module:Information.
Looks like the bottom two jobs are for the clean up. I'll see if that works. Multichill (talk) 19:52, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi. A curiosity: File:Selenacopac.jpg and File:Selenangfdrt.jpg were imported from Flickr by your bot. Both files have FBMD at MD. Disambiguation pages

Hiya There's some discussion about disambiguation pages here. Is it possible to make YiFeiBot ignore them when considering pages which don't have correct license tags (ie those that get included on Category:Media without a license: needs history check and/or Category:New uploads without a license? Make FlickreviewR 2 patrol files after license review

Hi Zhuyifei, can you consider the following suggestion?

If the bot passes or fails a license review of a file, it should patrol the first revision of the file if it's not already autopatrolled, to reduce the backlog of unpatrolled files. It should only not patrol if it thinks a human review is needed.

Привіт!

З 1 по 30 вересня вже традиційно пройде українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! В Україні цей конкурс пройде вже вдесяте. На конкурс можна подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Більше можна прочитати за посиланням.

Радимо ознайомитися із детальними правилами, а також із відповідями на часті питання. Як і того року — у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток» можна отримати 21 бал за фотографії об'єктів, якщо світлин цієї пам'ятки раніше не було завантажено.

Нагадаємо, що всі фотографії автоматично беруть участь у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток»; однак для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації «Найкраще фото», потрібно підтвердити це при завантаженні.

Цього року вперше будуть окремо виділені фото з повітря (дронами, квадрокоптерами тощо) — у спеціальній номінації «Аерофото». Для того, щоб робота потрапила на спецномінацію потрібно вибрати її у Завантажувачі.

Також вперше проводиться спеціальна номінація «Пам'ятки Подесення», знову пройдуть спецномінації «Відео», «Єврейська спадщина», «Млини», «Пам'ятки національно-визвольної боротьби» та «Via Regia Ukraine». Для участі світлин у цих спецномінаціях не потрібно обирати нічого у Завантажувачі — світлини зараховуватимуться автоматично з відповідних списків.

Нагадуємо, що до 30 вересня включно можна вантажити світлини та відео культурної спадщини України до національного етапу міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»!

Зараз Україна посідає 3-є місце за кількістю завантажених світлин, поступаючись Російській Федерації та Німеччині. За першу половину місяця було завантажено світлини пам'яток із усіх регіонів України, але частина із них є дуже погано представлена. Севастополь зараз представлений тільки однією пам'яткою і одним фото, Крим — 12 пам'яток і 51 фото. Детальніше — у таблиці:

Feature request for FlickreviewR 2

Hello Zhuyifei1999! Thank you for operating FlickreviewR 2. I am wondering if it's possible to do so, FlickreviewR 2 would leave a talk page message ({{Unfreeflickrnote}}) to the uploader whenever it encounters failed license review situation. This will be helpful as we don't need to message each & every uploader manually. Can you set up this feature? Sorry for the trouble. Hello, all images I uploaded today have been flagged to be deleted, because Bundeswehr has all of their images marked as All rights reserved. When looking at their About-page though, they make it clear that all images can be used for publication in newspapers, periodicals, print and online magazines or civic education fact and course books and their insertion in news programmes. Looks like a string changed to an integer somewhere causing the license lookup to fail. Patched it up and it seems to be working again. Multichill (talk) 18:26, 4 June 2022 (UTC)

The bot uses https://www.flickr.com/services/api/explore/flickr.photos.licenses.getInfo to do look ups. It is looking for "8" at File:Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod Signs the Guestbook (52119766411).jpg to do the mapping to {{PD-USGov}}. I'm not sure what is happening here, but first it seems to have changed from string to integer and now an entry is gone. Multichill (talk) 19:51, 4 June 2022 (UTC)

The bot is fine. As I mentioned before: someone broke the Flickr api. The entry "8" for PD-USgov is gone again. When that gets fixed (again), the bot will continue. I have no plans to change anything. Multichill (talk) 18:11, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

Improve FlickreviewR 2 to delete exact duplicates

Hello, Neither Flickr2commons nor Mediawiki prevent users to import duplicate files from Flickr. We're right now dealing with a large quantity of duplicated files from NASA/ESA Flickr repositories, see Commons:Administrators'_noticeboard#Rosetta_NAVCAM_duplicates. Would it be possible to improve User:FlickreviewR 2 to add Template:duplicate on files identified as exact duplicates, and reject the review?
