Bonjour,
La source de cette carte vient du site armenica.org, je me suis contenté de la vectoriser.
Néanmoins c'est une bonne question, ces points ne sont en effet pas clair. Je suppose que les points en mer Noire ne sont pas des centres, mais qu'il s'agit du nombre de victimes disparues en mer. Et pour Batoumi, qu'il s'agit d'un itinéraire de fuite, qui devrait donc figurer en vert.
Mais ce ne sont que des suppositions, je vais écrire à armenica.org pour en savoir plus.

Utilisation d'une image[edit]

Bonjour,

je suis enseignant et avec deux autres profs nous avons pour projet d'écrire un livre d'histoire des arts. Nous ne sommes soutenus par aucune maison d'édition et pour l'instant écrivons et essayons de comprendre quelles sont les conditions pour utiliser des images (dans le cadre de l'écriture d'un livre scolaire-commercial)

Savez-vous comment je peux déterminer les images du projet: art project que je peux introduire dans le livre sans problèmes?

Me permettez-vous d'utiliser une de vos images (peinture murale -préhistoire)?

Frontière Québec-Terre-Neuve[edit]

Bonjour Sémhur, Comme tu avais réalisé la carte sur le Canada, je me permet de faire de nouveau appel à toi pour une nouvelle demande. Pour l'article fr:Frontière entre le Québec et Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, j'aimerais avoir une carte semblable à celle-ci mais centrée sur le Québec et Terre-Neuve (en coupant le reste du Canada) avec cette fois-ci le Québec en bleu et Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador en rouge et la partie contestée qui était en rouge pâle serait en ligné rouge et bleu (pour indiqué qu'elle est revendiquée par les deux territoires). Bonsoir, oui il y a quelqu'un... En fait il faudrait que tu définisses plus précisément ce que tu veux restreindre. Par exemple :
  • Quelqu'un change le contraste d'une de tes photos et dépose sa version par dessus la tienne
  • Quelqu'un utilise une partie d'une de tes photos pour faire un photomontage, avec d'autres qui ne sont pas de toi, et dépose ce fichier sur Commons sous un nouveau nom (en citant ses sources)
  • Quelqu'un prend une de tes photos, en extrait une partie et dépose cette extrait sur Commons avec un nouveau nom (en citant sa source).
Dans ces trois cas, dis ce que tu acceptes et ce que tu refuses. En fonction de tes réponses on verra comment agir. Sémhur (talk) 20:27, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Couleurs politiques[edit]

Mount Rainier Volcano Hazards Map[edit]

Dear Sir - I work as a scientific illustrator for the USGS - Cascades Volcano Observatory. We are the authors of this map, in its myriad forms. The map "explanation" or "legend" that you have included does not explain the light orange color you have used. This orange color appears near Puget sound and Tacoma - along the shoreline and you also feature this color near Enumclaw, Eatonville, Buckley and Auburn.

Since I am intimately familiar with this map and the contents - I immediately noticed that these orange areas do not correspond to our official versions here at the USGS. So, I am writing to you and hoping you can clarify the meaning of the orange areas? I realize that not everything that appears on Wikipedia has been vetted, however an accurate portrayal of scientific information is important. This information, if inaccurate, should be corrected...

Ça va sans Piré ?[edit]

Salut camarade !

Il m'arrive parfois de passer sur tes traces et de visiter quelques communes où tu as déjà fait quelques clichés. C'est le cas de la riante cité de Piré-sur-Seiche où m'a mené ma dernière promenade dominicale.

Au moment de téléverser les quelques photos que j'y ai faites, il m'est venu l'idée d'aller quérir quelques précisions sur l'histoire du patrimoine local afin d'être le plus précis possible dans la fiche de description de l'objet. Ordoncques, je visitai le site officiel du lieu, et, surprise, je vis en page d'accueil l'originale photo du centre-bourg que tu fis par une belle après-midi printanière de 2007.

Ma première réaction fut une certaine fierté de connaître personnellement l'auteur de la photo illustrant le site de cette belle commune. Mais, m'interrogeais-je tantôt, l'ami Sémhur ne se serait-il pas fait injustement préempter son labeur ? Allons donc vérifier de ce pas les mentions légales du site où il doit certainement avoir quelque remerciement du travail bénévole fourni par toi. Quelle ne fut pas ma déception en constatant que pour seul auteur des images y figure la mention « Photographies : Mairie ». Et c'est tout. Le plus étrange étant le paragraphe suivant : « Le site Internet www.pire-sur-seiche.fr (textes, éléments graphiques, photos, etc.) constitue une oeuvre protégée en France par le Code de Propriété Intellectuelle, et à l'étranger par les conventions internationales en vigueur sur le droit d'auteur. La violation de l'un de ces droits est un délit de contrefaçon passible de poursuites. »

Voilà donc des gens qui ont une bien étrange conception du respect du droit d'auteur, allons donc alerter l'ami Sémhur, me dis-je alors. Et voici fait.

Si, convaincu de devoir te dédommager, toi l'auteur floué, la mairie envisageait de te couvrir d'or, je ne saurai refuser quelques modestes pièces pour la peine. Dans le cas plus probable où aucune indemnité pécuniaire ne te sera versée, je saurais me contenter de partager avec toi une bière lors de notre prochaine rencontre.

La pierre de Pontijou[edit]

Bonjour ! J'ai pris récemment la photo de pierres dont on m'a expliqué qu'elles servaient à la construction et qu'elles s'appelaient "pierres de Pontijou". Pontijou (41500) dans le Loir et Cher a des carrières de pierres. J'ai cherché à mettre ma photo File:Pierre de Pontijou.JPG dans la bonne catégorie mais je trouve cela très difficile. J'ai lu que cette pierre était un calcaire dur, un calcaire siliceux. Je pense donc "Limestone"... Pourrais-tu m'aider pour la catégorie ? Merci par avance. Ta réponse va bien au-delà de mes espérances ! J'ai suivi tes indications. J'ai ajouté une petite description en prenant modèle sur la Pierre de Caen, c'était juste ce qu'il me fallait. Quant à la hiérarchie dans les sous-catégories et le comment on peut l'instaurer, je n'en ai aucune idée. Je vais aller chercher l'information. Je dois dire que j'ai tendance à m'éparpiller : il y a tant de choses extraordinaires qu'on découvre au hasard des pages. Vettones[edit]

Bonjour, Sémhur!

I edited the map File:Vettones cities location map-fr.svg to correct the position of Talavera de la Reina (to be fair, there were an vetton/roman settlement called Ausgustobriga around the place the marked was in the disappeared town of Talavera la Vieja (now a submerged village) which it must be not mistaken with Talavera de la Reina (Caesarobriga), which was also an important vetton/roman city). I also corrected the (apparently) typo Ucala to Ulaca.

But, perhaps, as going far in corrections would seem disruptive, i leave here more possible issues as notes: Markers might be not perfectly localized and Yecta I suppose it's Yecla de Yeltes oppidum.

Anyways, I've uploaded a spanish-traslated version which solve some of these issues File:Vettones cities location map-es.svg.

Hello Giggette, I'm not a specialist of Aztec period, as I am just a wikigraphist who made maps for requesters in the French Graphics Lab/Map workshop. So I ask for the requester, El Comandante, as you can see above.
But your problem is still there, and it is not a problem of agreement or disagreement. You do not provides any reliable source. You just shows pictures took on websites, but from where they come ? The version I made in 2010 is from Provincias tributarias de la Triple Alianza (s. XVI).svg, itself from a recent source: Atlas del México prehispánico, edición especial de Arqueología Mexicana, 5, julio de 2000, México. So, please, provide a recent and reliable source if you have. Doesn't make sense?, I see, well, your only two sources from "Arqueología Mexicana" and "Frances Berdan" are only the original provinces tributary of the triple alliance when the aztec empire was founded (Mexico-Tenochtitlan, Texcoco, Tlacopan), but all the references I gave you, they show the maximun expansion of the territory the aztec empire in 1519 after many declines, for example, "Atzcapotzalco". You're wrong. These two maps show the Aztec empire in 1519, not when the last Excan Tlatoloyan was founded. first of all, congratulations, your work as a cartographer is very impressive! I have nevertheless a small suggestion to make, concerning your map http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lorentz_National_Park_map-fr.svg . The borders you drawed are not correct / recent, I believe. My reasons for this are: The indonesian source of the ministry of wood-managment shows different borders (http://www.dephut.go.id/INFORMASI/TN%20INDO-ENGLISH/tn_lorentz.htm) and if I download your file, georectify it in in GlobalMapper and measure its area, it shows less than the 2,45 Mio ha (the source above) or the 2,35 Mio ha the UNESCO is talking of (http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/955). I think your source of the park's borders (the map by Peter Loud) didn't show the eastern extension at all. I have georectified the map (http://www.dephut.go.id/INFORMASI/TN%20INDO-ENGLISH/image/peta_lorentz.jpg) from the official indonesian source and added these park borders to the openstreetmap. Maybe, if you agree, you could alter your file on wikipedia?

I get these kind of errors all the time with your files. Maybe it is the French punctuation of the files. Maybe it is something else. This I undid by changing it into:

id="textPays" or id="texte_Pays".

Bonjour,

J'ai vu votre demande de renommage du fichier Intercommunalités-d'ille-et-vilaine.jpg. J'ai choisi de ne pas l'effectuer. La raison en est qu'il est préférable, pour ce genre de carte amenée à évoluer dans le temps, de garder un fichier sans date dans son nom, et de garder ce fichier toujours à jour. Cela permet de ne pas avoir à modifier les articles dans lesquels ce fichier est utilisé à chaque fois qu'il change.
Dans le cas présent, la page Liste des intercommunalités d'Ille-et-Vilaine n'aura pas besoin d'être mise à jour pour modifier le nom du fichier, car la carte qu'il montrera sera à jour. Et c'est aussi valable pour tous les articles de la wikipédia en catalan qui utilisent cette carte.

Les versions plus anciennes de la carte sont toujours accessible dans l'historique des vignettes du fichier. S'il y a un besoin particulier d'avoir un fichier ancien (ou futur) pour illustrer un article, il y aura toujours moyen d'en créer un et de le nommer avec sa date.
