•  Support - Amazing sight. I'm impressed that you went to such a remote, inhospitable place. Did it smell terrible from the sulfur? • Hi IK: yes there is "rotten egg" smell (I think, earlier times even a gas mask was necessary), and thanks for updating the "Stay safe" section (I'm planning to write a Russian WV article). In fact, only guided group tour is allowed there, accompanied by local guides and some soldiers, so actually with Common sense no need to feel unsafe.
