Code issues in User:94rain/common.js

Hi 94rain, I am a bored bot (this is kind of a computer program) that is watching the recent changes and tapping buttons like I did now.

Curious about the reason? Possibly not but I will tell you anyway:

  1. You edited User:94rain/common.js. Glad to see you coding in javascript! Have you ever considered becoming a MediaWiki hacker?
  2. Though, that change appears to introduce 5 new jshint issues — the page's status is now having ERRORS. Note that invalid or ambiguous code often has unwanted side effects like breaking other tools for you. If you cannot find out how to fix it, I suggest blanking the page for now.
  3. To help you understanding where the issues are, I have aggregated a report here and now. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask users experienced in javascript writing for help. But do not ask the bot's operators (chronically overwrought) unless you suspect an error of mine. If you prefer not getting spammed by me, you can opt-out reports by adding {{ValidationOptOut|type=all}} to your user page or cmb-opt-out anywhere on your your global user page on Meta. Good luck at Wikimedia Commons and happy hacking!

File:KNZ&RV emblem.svg

Dear 94rain,

According to the website of the club (https://www.knzrv.nl/de10wapenfeiten item 2) the logo is in use since 1852 by the KNZ&RV, the oldest yacht club in The Netherlands. Therefor there rest no copyright on the logo anymore. The information on kisspng.com is wrong!

Please remove the speedy deletion tag.

Copyright status: File:Thich QuangDuc.gif

Date of your message: 13 August 2019 (7:35 UTC).

Thanks for your message.

The file above has already been used in 4 Wikis (same title) : in English, Russian, Indonesian and Vietnamese (years 2007-8).

I tried without success to transfer and use it in the article in French. I do not understand why. I am a beginner on Wiki, and it is not always easy to find the right way. But I will find. Step by step. I will ask help at the community.

Meanwhile, can you, please, make sure that the file is not deleted on Wiki.Commons?

Thanks in advance for your help.

(Please note: I answered in English as your page is written in English, and in the Babel box the French is not mentioned. Do you speak french?)--Contributeur2019 (talk) 13:29, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

  • @94rain: Hello 94rain, I contact you as you are my only contact Wiki.Commons. I have no problem with one of my personal files.

But that concerns the Category:Buddha : on the homepage, there is the File:(Portrait of Jo Stafford, New York, N.Y.(?), ca. July 1946) (LOC) (5148793708).jpg, which is apparently not in the right category. I think you are able to correct this error. This is an opportunity to greet you. Thanks for you help.Contributeur2019 (talk) 14:19, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

@94rain: All is ok now with this file. Tks for your help '94rain'.(If you are a learner… me too, may be more than you….sure!)Contributeur2019 (talk) 07:16, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

About some editing like nonsense.

Hi, I'm sorry to waste your time to revert this edit. It's not a nonsense editing actually. User:Lai lu-chuan is one winner of Wiki loves monument 2019 in Taiwan, but she didn't setup her email can be mailed by Special:EmailUser, so I noticed her the news by leave message on her talk page. After she connect me by mail, I asked her to do something special editing to make sure the person who mail me is really the owner of that account.

I leave this message to you because as you have seen, she may forgot login and edited as an unregistered user. I just asked her do the same thing again but login first. So if she added back the code, please don't think that is a vandalism.--Reke (talk) 10:36, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

Autopatrolled rights given

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. - FitIndia Talk Mail 19:09, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
