First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Löschantrag auf die Bilder

Guten Morgen, ich möchte hier auf deine Frage von dort antworten.

Es geht bei den Löschanträgen nicht gegen deine Person oder die Texte die dort zu lesen sind. Diese Buchumschläge hat jemand designt. Er ist der Autor der behaupten kann das es sein Werk ist. Er behält in den meisten Fällen auch diese Urheberrechte. Bei den Bildern die du hier einstellst hast handelt es sich um Fotos oder Kopien aus dem Internet der Buchumschläge. Ließ hierzu de:Wikipedia:Bildrechte#Produktfotos und eigene Nachzeichnungen (Marken, Cover, Comicfiguren, Maskottchen …). Du müsstest eine schriftliche Zustimmung des Designers haben (die der Wikimedia ggf. vorzulegen wäre) in der er sich bereit erklärt dass das Cover hier unter der Lizenz gezeigt werden darf. Ebenfalls Guten Morgen,

ich antworte auch auf diesem Weg, da ich mich mit dem Antworten auf Wiki etwas schwer tue bzw. dass noch nicht richtig verstanden habe, wo und wie ich den Kontakt aufnehmen. Es ist nicht so, dass ich mich von dem Löschen angegriffen fühle. Nein, ich möchte halt nur den Grund wissen. Jetzt weiß ich ihn.

Zum Thema: Die Bücher wurden von mir verfasst und die Umschläge ebenfalls von mir designt und fotografiert und eingestellt. Insofern kann ich schlecht von einem anderen eine Bestätigung dafür beibringen Verlegt wurden alle Bücher in einem Book on Demand Verlag (Shaker-Media in Aaachen/Herugenrath und Düren)

Vielleicht hilft diese Erklärung?

Hallo Matthias, schicke bitte eine E-Mail dieser Vorlage an volunteers-otrs-de@wikimedia.org und weise darauf hin, dass Du der Urheber der Bücher und der Cover-Designs bist. Verwende dabei bitte eine glaubwürdige E-Mail-Adresse (nicht ichbins@googlemail.com oder so). Damit wäre das Problem hoffentlich gelöst, es sei denn, jemand besteht auf einem Quell-Nachweis der Fotos, die in die Cover eingearbeitet wurden, so dass diese evtl. als "derivative work" betrachtet werden.
